As it is the gift time of year and everyone is wondering what to buy each other I thought I would write a quick review on Next gift vouchers. I am a purchaser and a receiver of them and cannot fault them at all.

Advantages: Excellent for gifts, you get a free card & you can get a lot of denominations, oh & they give you change Disadvantages: None what so ever except that they can only be spent in Next no other shop like some vouchers

My mum used to be a big Next shopper in the old days before she could afford designer labels (when she had us little kids) and we used to always get her some next vouchers because she used to love to get stuff in the sales, when there was actually a bargain to be had and not just when they sell stuff that has never actually ... ...a nice gesture and realised Next gift vouchers are great for any occasion. My mum used to be a big Next shopper in the old days before she could afford designer labels (when she had us little kids) and we used to always get her some next vouchers because she used to love to get stuff in the sales, when there was actually a bargain to be had and not just when they sell stuff that has never actually ever been in the shop before!
I also got £10 worth from a close work college when I left my last job. I thought it was such a nice gesture and realised Next gift vouchers are great for any occasion. They are sold with cards, which are nice, and simple so they are fitting for Birthdays, leaving presents, Xmas presents you name the occasion and you can get a Next gift Voucher for it. At Christmas time they usually bring out a more Christmas themed card like all shops, which is good too. You also get an envelope with the card so you don't even have to buy a separate greetings card unless you really want to.
The vouchers come in simple denominations £5, £10, £15, £20 and £25 which on average is about how much you want to spend on people from £5 being a friend you don't really know or nice for people at school to give and £25 is about how much you spend on your best friend. The £5 and £10 vouchers are good especially if you wanted like £30 worth or £45 worth or higher.
The vouchers are the average size, which is usually about the size of a fifty pound note, and are quite basic but attractive they have a large Next logo across the front and the amount gift voucher underneath. You then have a silver circle with the amount in on each side. On the back are the conditions of use and the barcode for when you spend the voucher.
You buy the vouchers from any Next store and you can pay for them by cash, credit card or cheque and they can be spent either in store or in the Next directory (next catalogue), which is very useful. The voucher can be used to buy absolutely anything from the women's wear, kids wear, shoes, jewellery or home ware.
The thing I like best about these vouchers as well is that they give you your change in cash up to £4.99 and usually if I get a £10 voucher you cant really get any clothing so I like to buy some jewellery and unlike some vouchers you can have your change which I think is only fair especially as they are usually a gift and £10 has been given for the voucher so why should you lose out? If you have a £25 voucher and only spend a little bit they give you back what they can in vouchers and then any they cant in cash.
The only bad point I thought about these vouchers is that they have an expiry date which I didn't realise until too late or so I thought. When the vouchers are purchased the sales assistant stamps the date on the back and they are supposed to run out a year after that. I wrote a letter to Next asking them to renew my voucher as I had lost my purse and now I had found it and realised my voucher was a month out of date and would they be kind enough to renew it. I didn't think they would but worth a try anyway. I mean what could I lose. I then read on the back and it actually said that if the voucher expires you could take it in to your local Next branch and renew it or send it to Banking Department, Next retail limited Desford Road Enderby Leicester LE19 4AT Recorded delivery and they would renew the voucher and reimburse you for postage charges. Well I couldn't believe it how good is that. As I am a lazy devil and really had no time to be messing about and as I had already wrote the letter I sent it off and didn't even bother sending it recorded delivery as I have never had any problems sending money in the post before and you couldn't tell there was a voucher inside. Sure enough 1 week later I received a nice new voucher valid for another year and also a 1st class stamp. How good is that. I thought it was an excellent customer service policy.
If I needed to buy anyone a gift voucher again I would definitely get a Next one.
Advantages: Freedom of choice. Good quality products to choose from Disadvantages: Boring gift.
...you can't go wrong with Next vouchers. At least there are no embarrassing few moments when you pretend to like what's been given or you realise that the person giving the gift is seeing you through rose coloured glasses....a size 12 long since having fitted!
Gift vouchers can be the perfect gift and what better shop than Next for choice. I love the shop and feel relieved that the sizes actually mean the size and are not made up to make us girls ... ...clothes are good quality and whether it is smart or casual you are looking for, there is a decent range to choose from. Vouchers also allow for that extra day shopping and perfectly justified too!! "I'm just off to town to spend the gift vouchers you gave me dear". No argument with that!
Actually the vouchers have got me out of a spot or two too. They have made the perfect gift for both the girls and boys in my life. The mens department is equally ...

Advantages: Reasonable pricing, good quality clothes, lots of stores Disadvantages: Everyone else wears the same clothes, not always a great selection
of cubicles with a bench, full-length mirror, and pegs and the lighting isn't too bad, unlike some clothes stores. There is a long linen curtain to be pulled across for privacy and a buzzer if you want to ask an assistant to find you another size.
Paying:
There seem to be ample till areas throughout the store and I have mostly been served quite quickly. You can pay with cash, credit or debit cards or with Nextgiftvouchers. Any purchases are packed into a plastic Next bag with handles.
Customer service:
I have found the sales assistants to be generally polite and efficient, mostly helpful but not particularly warm or friendly. They wear Next clothes and pin badges and Next lanyards so you can spot them fairly easily.
The Sales:
Now I know a lot of people love the Next sales but personally I'm not the type to queue up outside at 5am. I ...

Advantages: Great Looking Stlyes Disadvantages: Not Many For Boys
roughly about £20 so they are not the cheapest but the quality is so good that they could last the whole time your child wears them and still be in a relatively good condition to be passed on to the next child.
Staff are generally quite happy to help you look for sizes that don't seem to be on display so I have no complaints there and their after-sales service is good, I had to take a present back to the store as the size was wrong and they offered me either an exchange for the current price or giftvouchers back to be used next time.
There are queues the majority of times but they move quite quickly and to be honest, if you choose to go at a busy time, there are bound to be queues.
The only real complaint about this store is that they stock a wide range of clothing for girls but not nearly half as much for boys, anyone who works ...
