Nairns Cheesy Oatcakes - a healthier alternative to crisps!

Advantages: Yummy! Come in handy little packets to have on the go
Disadvantages: Each packet has 6 biscuits - I'd prefer 3 or 4.

On a recent trip to Tescos straight after work I was feeling peckish so headed over to the crisps and biscuits section. I was looking for something on the 'healthier side' so went for Nairn's cheese oatcakes, which were on offer at 84p at the time (they're normally £1.19). This was not the first time I'd bought these - I've been buying oatcakes for several years, although not on a regular basis. I find them really handy to have in my bag when out and about or when going abroad so that I don't have to buy snacks. Incidently Nairn's also do oatcakes in other varieties, both sweet (two varieties - mixed fruit and ginger) and non-sweet (rough, finely milled, herb and pumpkin seed), all of which I've tried at some point. Nick and Norah's boring film

Advantages: Lots of music, if you like music
Disadvantages: Weak story

(film only review) I had high hopes for 'Nick and Norah's Infinite playlist'. I had regarded the film 'Juno' as almost creating a new genre of movie, by that I mean, aimed at the teenage audience but with a clever and intelligent script, tackling serious issues with sensitivity with a serious, yet playful approach. I thought I would enjoy this as much as 'Juno', but I didn't. It's perhaps unfair for me to draw comparison, but seeing as the guy playing Nick, Michael Cera, played the male lead in 'Juno', comparisons are inevitable. So, what's the film about? We meet Nick who is still in love with his ex, we learn early on that he likes making her mix-CDs. We meet Norah, who it has a friend, who has an ex, that keeps making her CDs, she has no interest, thus throws the CDs away, to the annoyance of Norah, who picks them up ...

Teen pop/rock courtesy of Nick Carter

Advantages: Some fun, catchy tracks, he co-wrote some of the tracks
Disadvantages: Some tracks are a bit weak and unmemorable

*Please note:-* I'm not sure that I can really think of much to say for this album compared to the group albums but I wanted to give it a shot and I may edit this review later, if I think of more to add but for now, here's what I've come up with:- - Introduction/Background Information - Now or Never is Nick Carters debut solo album. This was released in 2002, when many fans of the Backstreet Boys worried about what the future of the group may hold, with Nick going solo and the group postponing working on their next album, so there were those that were opposed to his album simply from the point of view that it might lead to them not releasing any more group material.
