    Advantages Advantages Gives great shine

    Disadvantages Disadvantages can cause static

A friend recently gave me a bottle of Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy shampoo and conditioner and complained that after use, her hair was full of static. Although I’m a loyal user of Laboratoire Garniers Fructis shampoo, I’m willing to give anything a try once …especially when it’s free! Nicky Clarke’s ‘Colour Therapy’ range is a range especially created to enhance the colour of our hair. There are four variants in the range: - Sweet Like Chocolate (for brown/black hair) - Blonde Goddess (for blonde hair) - Take It As Red (for Red Hair) - Goodness Greycious (for Grey Hair) Having dark brown hair ... more

Advantages Advantages excellent results, smell, price, colour

    Disadvantages Disadvantages drives men insane!

...... This stuff smells divine! The smell has caused many a heated encounter....if you know what I mean. Just to let you in a little on what I use this shampoo for, I’ll tell you a bit about my hair. I have long naturally curly brown hair, that sometimes has red in it (no this is not the begging of a lonely hearts ad, and no I’m not giving out my bra size). It is to put it mildly somewhat over processed, I’m afraid that over the years my hair has received more than its fair share of colour torture and kamikaze heat styling. You know how it is when you have naturally curly ... more

Advantages Advantages range of colours, range of 'effects', last a long time

Disadvantages Disadvantages quite expensive, similar products available cheaper

Hmm...i thought the tag line to 'take it as red' shampoo (the title of my opinion) was rather funny, and although nothing to do with the product is proof that sex sells and a vain attempt to attract people to my opinion. Bwahahahahahah (evil laugh) 'Take it as red' is the line of Nicky Clarke's new 'Color Therapy' range that i, as a 'red head' 'gingernut' 'ginja-ninja' 'carrot top' etc etc use. It also comes in 'goodenss gracious', 'sweet as chocolate' and one for blonde haired people (sorry, can't remember the name). As well as the shampoo, there is also conditioner, controlling balm (for ... more

Advantages Advantages The smell, a classy bottle, shiny hair.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The price, did not leave my hair very soft.

I love chocolate, I love spoiling myself with gorgeous smelling creams and potions, and I am obsessed with my hair! I am on a never ending quest to make it ultra glossy and shiny. My sister kept going on about this amazing chocolate shampoo by Nicky Clarke but as a skint student I just ignored her and felt a tad jealous. On Saturday though, I felt my student loan burning a hole in my pocket, and wholst in Boots my beady eye spotted a BUY 2 GET 1 FREE deal on all Nicky Clarke Colour Therapy Products. I bought a shampoo, conditioner and finishing balm, all in Sweet Like Chocolate (for dark hair) ... more

I heard about Nicky Clarkes most recent range, 'Colour Therapy' when i read about it in a magazine. Nicky Clarke seems to have taken a leaf out of John Freida'a book and created a range especially for different hair colour. (As you probably know John Freida created the 'Sheer Blonde' range, especially for blondes) but Nicky Clarke has taken this one step further, acknowledging that it is not only blondes that need hair products suited to their hair colour. The range is especially designed to enhance the colour of your hair, no matter what colour it is. This is because it comes in various ... more
