Nicorette Freshmint Gum

I gave up smoking last year and I used several aids to help me including an inhalator, patches and this Nicorette gum. When I first purchased the gum I bought the smallest packet on the Boots website. 105 pieces for around £12.50 (now £12.99) and I was not worried about not using them all up as I had already tried about 5 or 6 pieces that I received from my sister to see if I wanted to use these in the future. Today i have decided to quit smoking. Although i have only been smoking for a relatively short time (3 months = 10 cigarettes a day) i thought it better to quit while young. At around 8AM i strolled down to my local co op and enquired if they sold nicotine gum or lozenges, typically at first the woman informed me with a swift 'no' then on a second inspection of the shelves behind her she procured a packet of 'nicorette freshmint 2mg gum nicotine'. I am a smoker and have been for quite a few years. I have tried many options of quitting and always faild due to will power more than anything. If you dont want to quit you wont unfortunatly. This product was probably the worst I have ever tried tho the Nicorette version is exepensive to say the least that is the first down fall but you can get cheaper versions that will only cost you from about a £1 poundland did do one but I havent seen them in there lately but if you do want to try them i would look for the cheapest version due to they taste the same which is nasty and they burn your ... more

I have tried many a times to give up smoking and have tried many different aids; seen a health promoter, used patches, used various types of gum and it's Nicrorette Freshmint Gum which seems to have helped me. I stopped smoking about four years ago and I have relapsed a few times during this time, but the last time i smoked must have been about 2 and half years ago. I do believe I would still be a regular smoking now if i had not found this form of nicotine replacement.
