As a smoker of 7 years who hates cigarettes, I decided to completly quit and try to replace my nicotine intake using this inhalator.
My realtionship with the inhalator has been a roller-coaster ride of love and reliance!. When you first buy this product (buy a starter pack - they are great value compared to the other options) you may find it rather harsh on the throat & it may give you quite a nicotine rush. I have read a review that criticises this product for this, lets just remind ourselves of our first cigarette - harsh on your throat & can give you quite a rush!!!! SO EXACTLY THE SAME THEN!
The point is if you can get used to smoking you can get used to inhalators. I hated the inhalator for the 1st day and saw no noticable difference with my nicotine cravings. However, over the course of a couple of weeks I was reaching for my inhalator 1st thing in the morning and craved that NOT CIGS!
Interesting points/Advantages:
Nicotine is not dangerous and does not create tar, like cigarettes, a weeks supply of nicotine for the inhalator costs 25% less than cigs (15 a day) You can "smoke" in non smoking areas whilst you are giving up, which really does help calm the cravings.
If you dont have the support of your friends, you still may not suceed though!
In short - these are a good alternative to smoking, anybody who claims that they cost too much, should closely monitor how much they would spend on an equal supply of cigarettes!

I SO agree about the chewing thing! This is my first day with the Inhalator and I am having a hard time not grabbing it between my teeth (and I'm not the sort of person who chews on pens or anything). If it wasn't so bottom-heavy it wouldn't droop out of my mouth so much - maybe that's why I want to bite it!

I am finding the same myself ...see my opinion on the inhalator, how are you getting on with them now?
Advantages: Compact, discreet, case feels like a pack of fags, and it honestly works too Disadvantages: Inhaler too wide to hold between your fingers, doesn't taste of anything
Advantages: You still have the physical feel of putting a fag in your mouth! Disadvantages: The weaning off the inhalor. The price if not on prescription.
Advantages: Instant hit not like the patches, Doesn't make you sick like the gum. Disadvantages: None (maybe a bit hard to buy in Ireland, Pharmacy only)
