Nike Town (Shop)

Advantages: Wide range of Nike goods attractively displayed
Disadvantages: You have to go up to the West End and fight the crowds

The shop is on three levels just by Oxford Circus tube station and I was somewhat bewildered when I first entered the store as Niketown does not look like your average sports store. Fortunately there was someone on hand to advise people where to go to find what they were looking for. ...several other tempting areas. The merchandise is displayed to maximum effect and you don't feel cramped at all. Although I couldn't immediately find a sales assistant on this floor I quickly located what I was looking for and proceeded to the till without any waiting or queuing. ...(compared to just 3 at Nike Town in London), all accessible via lifts or escalators, it was just over-whelming. There were plenty of staff on hand to help get around, but I advise you to just go it alone. Every floor is different, from American Football to Soccer (English Football) and Basketball to Athletics. If you like Nike then you will love the Nike village in Oxford Street London, it sells all Nike has to offer. It’s a three storey building and stocks a lot of goods, all Nike of course and you’ll be able to find anything you want there. ...wanted the biggest selection of nike stuff?... Well Nike Town in NYC is the place you have to visit if you're in manhattan. The store is absolutely massive and has everything nike has to offer along with all the latest products which have been just released. Also, if you're buying trainers they generally have all the shoes in every size, so availability isn't a problem. Finding your way around the store can be a problem at busy times, but generally ...

I think that the Nike Town in London is an awesome spectacle. The presentation and organisation is inspiring and a completely new approach to selling sporting goods. I also think that it is the way to go. TO me it seems to merge sporting equipment with funky and 'tredny' for want of a better word.
