The decision to buy the Nike psa[play 120 was at the time a very easy one. Two years ago this was the only sports specific portable music device available, again Nike filling a well-discovered niche in the market. Weighing in at only 68 grams (2.4oz) and with an original, stylish design, it appeals to both regular music listeners and highly active people alike. It comes with 64Mb memory as standard, which allows about 2 hours of playback, dependent on the quality of the audio transferred (via USB). This is expandable to 128Mb and above, with downloadable firmware upgrades offering further compatiblity as higher specification MMC cards become available. The 120's little brother, the psa[play 60, is also available with half the memory capacity and at a cheaper price. Transferring music to the player is relatively simple and can be done using the supplied bespoke software or by using Windows Media Player. In the latter case, the drivers are available online and are updated as new versions of Media Player are released. It is this forward thinking that becomes appealing as many technological products nowadays are obsolete almost before you buy them. The ability to continually add memory upgrades and use the latest software is a strong feature of this product. Along with the player Nike supply a belt clip, armband, headphones and a remote. The belt clip and armband allow positioning of the player, but usually a pocket will suffice. The remote is good for casual listening, but is more hassle than its worth for sporting actvities. The headphones are quite simply appauling build and sound quality - get some decent ones the first chance you get. Finally, I must say a word or two on the RioAudio customer service. Recently my player broke and after several e-mails, it is plain that if you have problems with this product outside the US, they are simply not interested. Having spent around £200, I personally am not happy about this - maybe Nike's new music venture with Phillips will provide a better service. I certainly hope so. Overall, this is a fantastic, flexible product, which I think I may have fallen a little unlucky with.
Maybe this product will be more to speak of if the company actually gave us samples of it. No one wants to buy a product if no one has tryed it and can't even talk about it or give you details about it. Me I won't even buy a product to give details to people about it, but if you give me a sample I'll definitly try it out for you, but I damn sure won't buy it.
Just by looking at it maybe it can do some good deed's. If anyone writes a comment about ...
