Last month, I purchased a pair of Nike tn air trainers from a good old seller on ebay. I had been looking for a pair of these for months but hadn't bought any because of the price. The only shop that sells them in the whole of Great Britain are Footlocker. They are notorious for charging extortionate prices for their products and these trainers were no exception. They would have set me back an astonishing £130 if I had purchased them here. However, I managed to pick them up for £47 including postage and packaging which I think is more than just a bargain, it's a steal!

These Nike trainers are very much the shoes of the moment and are in very high demand. Every time a new colourway or slight change of design is released, they are snapped up very quickly. These trainers come in many different colours, some just a single colour and others with creative designs using a number of different colours. The most popular colourways tend to be the plain white and black ones, closely followed by the light blue ones that I have. I wanted a pair of white ones but they are very difficult to get hold of in a size 10.

The trainers themselves aren't really geared towards any particular sport or type of usage. You can do pretty much anything you want in them. They are good for running, having a kick about in the park, playing any kind of sport, going out for a walk or just as a pair of fashionable every day trainers. I tend to wear mine pretty regularly, but not to do any kind of recreational or sporting activity. They do not really go with jeans very well which is a bit of an annoyance but that can't be helped.

I find them to be very comfortable and kind on the feet. The insides are very well lined and they offer a little bit of give when you walk. The soles of the trainers give you enough grip and the air pockets add to the comfort factor when you are walking or running along. There is also protection around the toe area, so if you stub your foot into the ground, a lot of the impact will be absorbed. The tongue is also very well cushioned so that it doesn't rub on the top of your foot and cause soreness or irritation.

It is very strange that Nike don't advertise the trainers on their website. It is impossible to find out any information about the trainers, directly from Nike. I wonder if Nike are grooming 'tn' to almost become a company of its own because they already make nike tn apparel and accessories. They include tracksuits, t-shirts and hats and caps. Nike also refuse to sell these trainers in their outlet stores, such as the ones in Watford and Southampton. This does give Footlocker a kind of monopoly on the UK market, allowing them to charge whatever prices they want.

I have been wearing these now for a couple of weeks and they are very comfortable and seem to be very hard wearing. They look as good as new and there are relatively few marks or scuffs to be seen. I think that these will last me for at least 9 months to a year, which by my standards is actually pretty good. They should last in terms of being fashionable because they are very update to date and modern. They suit people of all ages and make the ideal present at Christmas or birthday. As I have said, ebay is probably your best bet if you are going to be purchasing a pair of these and I would certainly reccomend that you do.
