Advantages: Sorry, None, Even the price is too much, compared to more serious models.
Disadvantages: Uncontrollable, Bad transmitter/receiver set, Too expensive, no replacement parts when damaged.

...I got one as a present, two months ago, not hindered by any knowledge about rc helicopter flying. It took me about 2 hours to crash it in such a way that the helicopter was unrecoverable. ( broken tailboom ) The transmitter / receiver set is crap and caused me to loose control in the last crash. The helicopter was about 30 yards away from me and could not be controlled anymore. Having read a lot more about rc helicopters and buying a more serious beginner's model now, i can give you my review on the Nikko: -- The fact that it has only 3 channels for control makes it impossible to control. You need at least 4 channels to succesfully hover a helicopter: 1 Throttle ( up/down ) 2 Rotate tail 3 Forward / Backward ( elevators ) 4 Roll left / right ( ailerons ) For a few dollars more it is possible to buy a beginners helicopter...
