Car was bought mainly for its realistic appearance. The car has eye-pleasing details such as smoke tinted windows, chrome bumpers, chrome wheels, separate chromed door handles, clear headlights and red-tinted taillights (although not lighted, could be modified with a separate battery source, miniature bulbs and on/off switch). Advantages: Sorry, None, Even the price is too much, compared to more serious models.
Disadvantages: Uncontrollable, Bad transmitter/receiver set, Too expensive, no replacement parts when damaged.

...I got one as a present, two months ago, not hindered by any knowledge about rc helicopter flying. It took me about 2 hours to crash it in such a way that the helicopter was unrecoverable. ( broken tailboom ) The transmitter / receiver set is crap and caused me to loose control in the last crash. The helicopter was about 30 yards away from me and could not be controlled anymore. Having read a lot more about rc helicopters and buying a more serious beginner's model now, i can give you my review on the Nikko: -- The fact that it has only 3 channels for control makes it impossible to control. You need at least 4 channels to succesfully hover a helicopter: 1 Throttle ( up/down ) 2 Rotate tail 3 Forward / Backward ( elevators ) 4 Roll left / right ( ailerons ) For a few dollars more it is possible to buy a beginners helicopter... I had hours of fun with lego but as technology became clever so did lego, they increased the types of things you can build, such as Formula 1 cars and helicopters, but this time there were special parts which move, like the helicopter blades and the cars engines and wheels without touching it. You can buy Star Wars models, Bionicle models, radio controlled models, football match models, Spider-Man models and computer games of it and you have to build your own craft and complete missions without it blowing up or falling apart.
