This digital camera is definitely good value for money, compact (85x60x35mm, 130g (without its two AA batteries), stylish design, cutting edge technology and quality images all-in-one. This your average simple camera for amateurs except it takes 5.1 Megapixles pictures of professional quality. Coolpix camera has D-Lighting technology, which intelligently lightens overly dark images and automatic red-eye reduction. The cam has 3x optical zoom equivalent to 35-105mm on a 35mm camera, a 1.8 inch LCD screen and 16 different scene modes for every situation. You also get Picture Project a photo editing software with the camera for further editing and perfecting your pics. It is also very easy to use with many modes which automatically set themselves. One of the things that make it so easy to use is the four way for flash, self timer and macro mode selection and scrolling through menus.
