i bought this as a christmas present and already i can see how great it is.
Excellent camera only problem is taking photos at night from certain angles but apart from that brilliant!
great value for monay and worth it. would recommend to anyone who wants a brilliant result from a digital camera. top quality piece of kit. easy to use for all my sisters 5 year old could work it with ease. fun for all! price has already came down since i bought mine so i would get it now. all the features are good and the video capture is superb the buttons are easy to navigate aswell. the size of the screen makes viewing on the camera really goo rather than having to put them on the computer to see them. overall great product!

What you have said is typical of all digital cameras and doesn't really help when you are trying to compare to other cameras.
