Been a while since I've written a review so thought I would pop on and review this camera I got for Christmas. It was on offer for £150 but you can still get it for this price now.

As far as a camera goes it has a lot of features but certainly not ones that are needed for a bridge camera. All of the features on this camera can and have been included on a lot of compact cameras. Before buying this I thought I wouldn't need much out of a camera but it appears after using this I do.

The good points out weigh the bad so I shall list these for you.

Good

• Small enough to put in a bag and not as heavy as a DSLR.
• Take really good pictures at 14MP.
• Has plenty of modes to just snap away and not worry about settings.
• Has a real good 21x zoom.
• Has BSS(Best Shot Selector) to choose sharpest shot for you.
• Smile detection mode works well.
• Pet portrait mode actually works well.
• Flash nicely concealed and doesn't pop up all the time
• HD 720p recording for video.
• Side zoom switch for when you want a steady close up
• 1cm macro actually pretty good

Bad

• No good for night shots
• Sport mode useless, drops pixel to 3.0 and quality then looks bad
• Not many manual settings
• Can't adjust shutter speed
• Can't manual focus

So if you want a camera that will do everything for this is possibly for you, if you want a camera that you control I would suggest looking at another model.

All in all, this is a good camera and I am happy with it they just should have added manual shutter control to compete with other brands models.

I've had to reduce the size of the pictures to fit on here but these are samples at 300dpi.
