Advantages: Small, very easy to use and takes good quality photos. Disadvantages: Its made from some type of plastic, therefore slips easily out of your hands.
...I had been wanting a digital camera for some time and then one christmas my boyfriend gave me the NikonCoolpix 4100 as a christmas present. From the moment i opened the box i loved it, it was a neatly shaped, fairly small camera that fitted nicely into my pocket. The camera was very easy to use, also with easy control buttons, you can take good quality photos with the NikonCoolpix 4100 and its a lot of fun to use with 15 programmed modes to experiment with, the only thing i dont like about the NikonCoolpix 4100 is due to its plastic feel it easily slips out of your hands and it this has happened a few times, thankfully it still works perfectly and i continue to take good quality, fun photos nearly every day....

...My partner and I own the previous Nikon and are currently looking at upgrading to the NikonCoolpix 80. The price is very reasonable we think as the quality of Nikons are second to none. We even managed a discount when we first purchased ours from Jessops in Derby due to my partner being a student photographer. We have had only a few problems with our existing Nikon which is why we are likely to purchase the new Coolpix 80. The customer service at Nikon have been extremely helpful with advice on technical issues and user problems, they have even sent us a news lens cap when we lost ours during a weekend away. Although we use ours predominately for the family, my partner is now a professional photographer and he will use nothing but Nikon.
