who want greater flexibility and control over their image workflow. The D2Xs combines the widely acclaimed 12-megapixel CMOS sensor and the outstanding speed and autofocus performance of its predecessor, with advanced image processing and a sturdy build, placing it at the top of its range. With an amazing shutter speed of 1/8,000 secs thanks to its cutting-edge KEVLAR shutter, a release time lag of just 37 ms and waterproof seals, you can make sure that your photos always come out clear and bright. screen protectors that you find on iPods, digital cameras and media players. The Giottos AEGIS is a high translucent, optical glass sheet made from Schott glass of Germany. The screen lays over the camera's LCD panel to protect it against abrasion, scratches or accidental impact. The glass used has special properties to reduce ghosting, minimise light reflections and ensure maximum light transmission. It has a 12 layer coating that's also claimed to protect the camera's LCD from UV so its life is prolonged. The screen is water repellent and resistant to acid, so you're not only protecting it from scratches, but the elements too...and this includes your greasy nose that is often resting up against the LCD while you're looking through the viewfinder. Included accessories: Micro-fibre cleaning cloth

memory effect, you can recharge it whenever you want, however full it is. It also benefits from improved characteristics in the loading/unloading cycle, giving it increased autonomy.
Super for advanced photographers. I found the manual to be extensive and just keep on providing me with features!! i was like a kid playing with a new toy. I have been using it on a photography course, and I just find it amazing. The most expensive camera I have bought but just so many things to get excited about.
The DXS was award winning and this is even better, with refinements to the viewfinder, the battery doesn't die so quickly and the LCD ... ...in RAW or JPEG formats. Resulting in 4288 by 2848 images. Advantages: Excellent speed, no failures Disadvantages: More expensive than comparative memory
...I use a Minolta 5D camera, which i love, and this card complements it perfectly.
The card is rated at 133x speed (20Mb/s) which is blisteringly fast. You can transfer the contents of the entire card to your computer in about a minute (~16Mb/s).
The 133x refers to the standardised speed of transferring with a cd-rom, hence 1x is 150Kb/s for reference.
The benefit of using a card this fast is that it will allow your camera to take pictures in continuous/burst mode as fast as the camera is capable of (unless you are using a Pro level camera like a canon 1D or nikonD2Xs), my camera sustains a speed of 2 fps (frames per second) after the buffer is full, and this is limited by the cameras electronics rather than the card.
The price of these has also dropped a lot since release, and even more so now as the extreme IV series has been...

Advantages: Low noise at high ISO settings Disadvantages: None so far
...I exchanged my D200 for a D300 a week ago. At the moment the weather has not been particularly good so the camera has been set at a high ISO rating. One set of pictures were taken at ISO 1600, something I would have never attempted with my D200 or my D2Xs, which I also have. The results are very pleasing and the lack of noise is a great achievement for Nikon. Previously in low light conditions, I would have to put the pictures through Photoshop and use Noise Ninja etc. The colours are also good and the presettings allow you to tailor the image to your own liking. Another step forward is the "Live View" option. This will be a great asset to lndscape, still life and macro photographers. The pre-view screen on the back of the camera is a huge and very clear....
