displays during use. A hard coating prevents scratching of the film. The high adhesive strength also ensures that the display protection film will hold tightly even while carrying the device in a pocket. But the film can still be removed without residue.Thanks to the high transparency and the smooth surface, the film is hardly noticeable when installed. The adhesive layer of the protective film even flows into very light scratches, making them invisible. The film surface can be cleaned very easily, in most cases with just a dry cloth.One package contains:2 Vikuiti CV8 display protection film. your display with surface properties that are equal to or better than those of the original display. A number of 3M technologies are conveniently combined in this product to make valuable devices resistant to environmental influences. The film is optimised for use on touchscreens and offers a comfortable feeling for writing.The surface of the film is scratch-proof and repels oil and water very much like a coated cooking pan. This means that fingerprints are no longer a problem. They can be easily wiped off the film. The brightness, contrast and readability of the display are noticeably improved by the matte surface and true anti-reflective properties. All these features plus the simple and bubble-free installation process make Vikuiti display protection ARMR200 the ideal protection solution for large displays as well as notebooks and tablet PCs.One package contains:1 Vikuiti ARMR200 display protection film. film material that combines all the positive properties of previous display protection films into one product. The Vikuiti DQC-160 display protection film is intended for subsequent application to electronic displays and has a hard coating that offers outstanding mechanical protection. The surface is smooth and glossy like glass. The adhesive and film are crystal-clear, making the film practically invisible when installed. The film surface has an anti-stick layer, allowing the removal of pen and overhead marker ink with dry wiping.The Vikuiti DQC-160 display protection film is extremely easy to apply. The adhesive layer is not clingy and adheres to smooth, even surfaces without the need to apply pressure. The film practically pulls itself tightly onto the display and can be removed again or repositioned without difficulty. Since the film is anti-static, no dust particles are attracted when removing the protective covering. However, if dust or foreign particles do get included during application, the film can be pulled off, rinsed with clean water and reapplied.One package contains:1 Vikuiti DQC-160 display protection film. Advantages: Addional Lenses that are available. Disadvantages: Yet to discover
...I purchased this camera in order to get some great quality images for istock. As using my old compact camera I had a few images accepted but realised the need for a good quality SLR
Got a fabulous deal on this camera as had:
* 10% off from Jessops
* 9% off from Quidco
* £40 off from Nikon
The camera came with an 18-55mm lens& has many lens which are available compared to the NikonD40 and not far off as far as functionality is concerned from the D80 - my uncle has D80 and was teaching me how to use mine and he was quite impressed.
I still need to learn lots about the functionality but will post more when I know more. Meanwhile I know I got a great deal on the camera itself not to mention the product itself is a great buy....

Advantages: price, small size, quality Disadvantages: easily damaged, digital screen is often annoying
...For the price of this digital SLR, it is a brilliant choice for both amateur and professional photographers alike. With 10 megapixels, it definitely delivers more in that department than most other NIkon DLSRs in this price bracket. Small, compact and light at the same time as being user-friendly, this baby produces fantastic high-quality photographs that can be edited on the camera, a surprisingly useful feature. Battery life is also excellent. With a 1gb memory card, this camera can store hundreds of pictures at high quality. Although the automatic functions are superb, and there are settings specifically for portraits, landscapes, night portraits, sports photography etcetera, when used manually this camera really performs and you are given far more freedom in focusing....

...** NikonD40x Digital SLR **
This is my first digital SLR camera I really like taking pictures of mainly our families dogs and cars my main hobbies, my other half had previously had been using a digital SLR that belonged to his dad, so we both went a long to Jessops that is well know for selling really good photography stuff.
We had a look at various models of camera including the Canon Eos 400d which is one of this cameras biggest rival models, also looked at four or five other digital SLR models. Then eventually we started looking at the NikonD40x my other half knew someone who had the previous model to this the NikonD40 which had been really good, the other half had used it previously and found it a really good quality camera. So after a lot of really useful and helpful advice from the shop assistant in Jessops we chose the Nikon...

Advantages: Good quality photo, wider view finder, best display Disadvantages: No interface CF, lens look so conventional
...Nikon must be continued to compete SLR competition especially with Canon in SLR camera. In this case, Nikon can win in price aspect. SLR D40x is more cheaper than another SLR from Canon or Pentax. The quality of the picture was produced with D40x very good.
From this cheap SLR, don't wish that we will get an extra SD card. Although this SLR use SD card interface not CF (Compact Flash) interface so it can be considered which not take benefit for user of another SLR, because another SLR usually use CF interface.
D40x is very easy to use, interface can operate as simple as compact camera. All menu is easy to understand and easy to perform in a view finder. But, the lens that was offered apparently more uninteresting, cause the lens just 18-55mm. The Lens can work very good, smooth and sharp, but that lens look like more conventional than...

...My return to SLR photography after two "compact" digital cameras. THe D40x is amazingly light compared with my previous 35mm SLRs. The basic auto prgrammes are pretty well foolproof, you really have to be doing something stupid not to get decent results with this camera.
What made me go for it .... 10.8 mp , takes SD cards, cheaper than the D80.
If you go for the manual settings then you have to know what you are doing. The instruction manual is precise and fairly comprehensive. It does take a bit of reading and experimentation with the various settings. I have read quite a few reviews in the photography press and in general the D40x has been well received.
I bought the Nikon "kit" which comprised the body, an 18-55mm lens and a 55-200mm lens all for less than £500 which I reckon was a good deal. There are still plently retailers...
