The Nikon D40X really is a great little digital SLR camera. I would wholly recommend this camera for the aspiring photographer about to embark on your career as it is very easy to use and its simplicity means you can take stunning, professional looking photo's at the press of a button. The SLR lens is brilliant for creating different focus effects and allows you control the depth of focus to whatever degree you wish. As a whole package the Nikon D40X is the perfect camera for novices and intermediaries but would probably be a little too simplistic for expert photographers, however don't let this put you off, it is still a feature packed camera with the ability to take just as good photographs as the more 'professional' SLR cameras out there.
