Hey ive been a Nikon owner for many years..and yes they still prove to be the best in the business.. but who expected anything els but excelence from the top photographic device maker.. they have been the Leader of the Field for many decades..and still are..
Well now to the D70s.. one word, Exelent.. its really what you expect from Nikon. and even the Entry to the Profesional market. it still delivers all the needs to the profesionals.. Ive been a Proud owner of a Nikon F3 (1985) profesional Film camera and the transision was seemless.. everything was perfectly placed.. even For the Old Shool Profesionals..
Ok..About the Quality of the Pictures.. Well Good in General JPEG mode..But The advantage is RAW..Which if a Profesionals Choice because one can adjust the picture pervectly even after the Shot is taken..
Ok..my one disadvantage is the Redeye reduction.. It doesnt really Work..But if you a Pro you would never use the Flash at night time by itsself. you Would have either the SB600 or SB800.. But the onboard Flash Does work wonders as a fill in flash..
All in All for me Personally there is no other Camera Better at this Price range...The Lens Kit also Comes With a Very very High Quality Lens... Beats the old Expensive Nikon Lenses Hands Down..
So yeh..I love this Camera its Everthing it Claims..and More..
