I bought this camera to replace my F4S. Basically it does almost everything the F4S could do with about half the weight.
This camera has a large clear bright screen which can be interchanged with several other types.
I love it because it has a 1/8000th second top shutter speed which freezes action into crystal clarity. I like it's 3.5FPS integral motordrive, it handles beautifully and the 1/250th second flash sync makes daylight flash fill in photography easy peasy!
These cameras can be bought very cheaply now, but they are of superb build and feature filled - matrix metering, spot, and average.
Autofocus not as fast as today's camera's but its very reliable autofocus. This camera is also compatible with virtually every lens Nikon has made since 1959!

You have packed a lot of information into a small space there but you might find a lot of people like to see more explanation of the features. Welcome to Ciao, Sharron xxx
