I feel like I am always having to clean shoes and boots, be it my own shoes or my partners work boots, even my son's Wellingtons, I swear I never stop. Thankfully NikwaxFootwearCleaningGel is a fantastic sponge on revitalising cleaner for all types of footwear; it will work on all combinations of any fabric and is even suitable for breathable fabrics such as Gore-Tex, SympaTex and eVENT. This means I can clean all our shoes with just the one product, from walking boots to trainers and everything in between. The bonus to it being ?sponge on? is that the head of the cleaning bottle has a spongy/scrubby material stuck onto it so you can use this to work away any stubborn dirt.
This particular Nikwax product comes in a white bottle with a green lid, and is only available in one size which is 125ml which costs around £3 ...

Prepare to be excited?
I don?t know why this popped into my head, probably something to do with the fact that I?d been desperately plastering my motorbike boots in the stuff to try and stop the latest biblical downpour getting through on the way home. I do have Gore-tex boot liners but my feet get very heavy when the huge boots I wear soak up a bucket load each and it can be difficult to get my leg over (steady) the bike seat after a hard ride (through the rush hour traffic?stop that!!) of an evening.
Enough! It sounds like a ruddy Carry On Op! Carry on Opiniating there?s an idea for a film anyway, I checked the product list and there it was waiting for me! Nikwax.

Special cleansing gel
I was having a terrible time with my skin and I went to a small salon near me for a facial. Whilst in there, she used and recommend Dermalogica. I thought very pricey and a bit suspect as I know how salons work being a Hair dresser by trade. She gave me a sheet of paper which had all the details of what she used and were she used it. This I found very handy as I forgot all the lotions and potion by the time I walked out of the door. So for Christmas I asked for three of the products. Special cleansing gel, Pre cleanse and Active moist.

It looks fantastic nice and simple black and white print and very clear text. The lid gives you just the right amount even whilst scrabbling about in the shower. I would recommend unless you want the biggest the Wash 250ml, use along with the Pre-cleanses 150ml ...
