The trail of the Submarine goes from Russia, to Iran, Scotland, London, Kansas and Iraq, cullminating in the South Atlantic and Eygpt.
The book is compelling and once started is very difficult to put down.

A few years ago when I was laid up in a hospital bed I asked my Dad to nip into Smith's and buy me a book as I'd finished all the others I had. So he randomly chose a couple of books and this was one of them Seawolf. Written by PatrickRobinson, who I had never heard of until I seen this book, it is one in an ongoing set of books by him centred on a fictitious United States Government.
The Americans are a bit wary of the Chinese spying on them and so dispatch their best nuclear submarine, fresh from a refit on a stealth mission into Chinese waters. The ship has the best crew in the American Navy, including Linus Clarke the son of the President of the USA, who is the ships XO and he is serving under the best Commanding Officer the navy has, Judd Crocker.
However one night deep inside Chinese waters under the control of the XO ...
The US Nimitz Class carrier is a state-of-the-art war machine. Suddenly she disappears from the radar screens, and vanishes with all her crew. The hunt is on for the killers, and the entire force of the West's defence swings into action.
