I would say this ... ...smells like Tomatoes!? Well apparently Nina Ricci does as this eau de toilette contains extracts from the leaf, flower and fruit of the Tomato. When you first spray it on all you really smell is the alcohol, which isn't very pleasant, but once it has settled you get a very delicate fruity Tomato fragrance with very citrusy undertones. If you are one of the (Lovely) people who read my other perfume op then you will know that I often have problems with perfumes as a number of them give me headaches(If you didn't read it, shame on you!)However Les Belles De Ricci isn't one of those evil headache inducing perfumes and so I thought purely for this reason deserved an op.

There are 3 different variations of Les Belles De Ricci eau de toilette but the most popular is known as Liberty Fizz (The one in the green bottle). The price of this eau de toilette can vary dramatically as I have seen 100ml sold on the net for 34 pounds but actually managed to buy 60ml for 15, so a bit of a bargain there then, David Dickinson would be proud!
I would say this perfume is not for the faint hearted and this seems to be reflected in the somewhat gaudy packaging. The box is one shade away from being fluorescent green and has a Taj Mahal shaped pink splodge in the middle on which Les Belles De Ricci is written in gold lettering (It also says all the usual stuff; dont spray perfume anywhere weird and a list of bizarre ingredients!) The only way I can describe the bottle is by saying it looks like a frosted green Walnut Whip (Thats the polite way of saying it!) and is topped with a metalic pink crown/flower shaped lid. Although the packaging is quite unusual I would say that it is attractive and as its so distictive I dont think you will ever confuse it with any other perfume!
I would say this perfume is definately non greasy and it has never stained my clothes. It evaporates very quickly after you spray it on so I think it contains a lot of Alcohol, so I wil echo the words of the box and say careful where you spray!

You know when people are always saying that the Tomato is a fruit, well when I smell this perfume I can totally see where they're coming from as this perfume is fruity, flowery, fresh and light.
I would say the scent lasts for about 4-5 hours but to be honest the lingering trace of it is almost nicer than the actual perfume as it smells really soft and sweet.
This is probably one of my favourite perfumes, in fact the only thing that I dont like about it is the fact that it is very hard to find. Since I bought the 60ml as a little present for my mum a year or so ago I haven't seen it in the shops. The really annoying thing is she doesn't even use it, but I feel guilty using it myself as I bought it as a present for her, Oh well I suppose I will just have to resort to plan B making my own, now wheres that Ketchup!

I first discovered Les Belles de Ricci a few years ago when my friend began to use it. It’s an incredibly distinctive smell so everyone must have been able to smell us coming! I find it’s a very everyday sort of perfume, quite a soft fresh fragrence which can be lightly worn to give an airof fragrence or in the evenings worn more intensely. It’s a difficult smell to sum up. It’s sort of fruity but not in a sweet way. I think ... ...(sounds unpleasant but it’s really really not!) and a sort of softness that reminds me a bit of talcum powder. Despite this softness of fragrence it’s zingy and zesty. I’m often complimented on it and to my closest friends it’s a smell they recognise on me. One thinks I smell like cherry brandy so i’m not sure if I can use that to help describe it. I think I might be a bit immune to the smell now so wear lots! The packaging ...

...Well, according to the excellent Nina Ricci website, the fragrance is based on the leaf, flower and fruit of the tomato plant. Interesting, huh? Oh and by the way, I'm actually writing an opinion of the Liberty Fizz version of this perfume - there are actually two other types available, although I have not tried these.
'Les Belles de Ricci' range is made with young women and girls in mind. I'm a young woman I guess, but I'm sure that older people ... ...just the packaging then. It's bold, bright and eyecatching. The bottles are great shapes and even the lid is different. This is definitely one of my favourite perfumes of all time and the fact that I bought a massive bottle of it from Duty Free a few weeks ago for about £20 makes it even better. It lasts for ages and it lingers in my room for days.

...my sister who's also another Nina Ricci fan and i instantly fell in love with this product and brought it myself. THE SCENT: Firstly i'd like to explain a little about the very unusual but gorgeous scent this product has. In my opinion i would describe it as a very fruity, strong and sweet smelling perfume but unlike other leading fragrances this one does not have the over powering smell which instantly comes across as 'too much' which certainly ... ...is so pleasing that its one of those products you cant help but keep sniffing it and i would describe it as quite addictive! Also its staying power is pretty incredible and somehow manages to last all day which is very unusual to find a product that does this so well. DESIGN OF BOTTLE:

...had never owned any of Nina Ricci's products until I came across this one in the duty free section in the airport (killing time before a flight.... everyone's done that right?). The first thing that draws you to it is the brightly coloured, unusually styled body of the bottle; it definitely stands out amongst it's competitors. It's green glass unique bottle is not heavy and does make an interesting collection to the extensive perfume collection I ... ...is perhaps slightly a little sweet after first application but does calm down and usually lasts a long while without constant reapplication. It's not overpowering though which is always nice with female perfumes. It is also one that I wouldn't normally wear (I usually go for darker perfumes such as Gaultier or Boss) but this one is definitely one that pleases. It has been recommended as an evening perfume though I wouldn't necessarily agree; daytime ...
