Nina Ricci Love In Paris Eau de Parfum Spray

An unusual fragrance from Ricci.

Advantages: After a while the lighter notes shine through.
Disadvantages: Initially it smelled musky ( on my skin )

. When I used the tester in the store the sweet light fragrance came over as soft and playful but since that day I have slightly struggled to `understand` this fragrance. Ricci's `Love In Paris` and `L'air Du Temps` are to die for and maybe I have been spoilt by what I already have. `Nina` seems to be from a totally different planet, it is far muskier and deep than I initially thought that it would be. But that is not to say that it is one that I have given up on by any means. The inspiration for the perfume came from the `red toffee apple` and from what I can gather this means that the first smell to break through would be the crisp sharp surface and then the softer lighter note will be `hidden` in the middle. Nina Ricci Premier Jour, floral and delicious!

Advantages: Sexy smell which makes you feel a million dollars!
Disadvantages: None!

! The bottle is in three, interconnected parts which I think signifies the levels of scent the perfume has. It claims to have three seperate tones which are:- -Gardenia and Yellow Mandarin -Sweet Pea and Vanilla Orchid -St Lucia Wood, musk and Sandalwood. (www.ninaricci.com) Now I'm sure that array of flowery fragrances are enough to send many a person running but it honestly is a beautiful scent. The musk and sandalwood really set off the floral undertones making it a light smell which is suitable for any woman to wear either during the day or at night. Obviously the price varies depending on where you buy the perfume but generally it is between about £20 up to £30 for the 30ml eau de perfume spray. Coco Chanel Mademoiselle Eau De Parfum

Advantages: Gorgeous Smell
Disadvantages: A tad expensive

I bought this product myself, whilst going on holiday in the duty free section. Part of the reason for this is because it is very expensive, especially the eau de parfum. This is a lovely fragrance that is sweet smelling that after one spray lasts for ages, which is why I think it is worth the money spent because it means you have to use less of the perfume, which with some others you have to spray numerous times, over the course of the day in order to still smell it. Whereas, with this one, that isn't necessary. However, I recommend buying the eau de toilette if you don't want to spend as much money, but again, it may mean you have to use more of it.
