Professor Layton and the Curious Village was the must have DS game for Christmas 2008 with shops selling out and copies going for silly money on Ebay. It was one of the best games I have played on the DS with the infuriatingly difficult puzzles keeping me amused for hours. 2009 saw the launch of the sequel, Professor Layton and Pandora's Box.
