101 solitaire games - Solitaire Ultimate Collection for DS
Advantages: Lots of different games, well presented Disadvantages: Limited graphics and sound, could do with using both screens when playing

The game consists of a wide range of different card games which you can play on your own. There are 101 different solitaire games in this collection which are placed into various categories, so it will take you a while to work through them all. 42 all-time classics.. the perfect name.
Advantages: mixture of card games and boardgames Disadvantages: there could always be more games.
...the stable mario etc and 42 All-time Classics is one of the best i have come across.
Featuring the likes of solitaire, rummy, blackjack and texas hold`em it is a great mix for card lovers.
They have mixed in some extra games like billiards, darts and mahjong to add something new.
Stamp play lets you try all of the games starting off easy and moving on level by level through all 42 games

Top Trumps - Dogs & Dinosaurs
Advantages: The card game is fun... Disadvantages: But it doesn't translate that well!
...idea that there was a Top Trumps game out for the DS and was quite surprised to find there were quite a few. I used to love the card game and a number of my friends had different packs that we would play when we were bored during college, so I was excited to find this game and immediatley bought it.
For those of you that have not played a Top Trumps game before, the rules are very easy. A pack of cards is split into two. You only look at the card ... ...statistic from the card on top of THEIR deck. If yours is higher, you take their card and put it on the bottom of the pile and have another move. If your figure was lower, then they take YOUR card and they continue the game. The object is basically to take all of your opponent's cards. Simple and surprisingly addictive!
Unfortunatley, the game just didn't translate well over to the DS. I am a dog lover so I thought I would really enjoy this, but ...

No trump here am afraid.
Advantages: cool graphics, sound, music, numerous levels. Disadvantages: repetitive game-play. Min-games could be better.

Goku
Advantages: Great Visuals, Sounds and Simplistic design Disadvantages: Repetitive, story mode very unoriginal
Unlike many games of the series this one does not follow the straight up beat -em- up route and ops for a for card battling feel which is always refreshing!
However the game suffers from issues such as repetitive graphics and presentation with the gamer able to experience all the game has to offer in a short period of time.
Furthermore when you start story mode this will add to your boredom as you will enact the same boring scenarios over and over ... ...maps.
But where the game does succeed is how easy it is for first timers to card battling to interact with simple card combos and extremely detailed tutorial for beginners.
Overall, Goku Densetsu tries a bold step into a fairly new light of Dragonball games and does step in the right direction but I would recommend this game only to fans really.
Getting the game should be possible over EBAY at around £5-£12.50 ...
