Kick this into shape please EA Sports
Advantages: It has alot of teams to choose from Disadvantages: Poor graphics, game play and controls
Fifa 10 Nds I love the football games you can get and Fifa is always the one people remember because of the fantastic amount of graphics and game play you get to experience and each year a new game comes out with further enhancements. Fifa 2010 for the Nintendo DS console is an improvement over the past couple of years but there is plenty more needed to make this game worthwhile purchasing. You begin the game and are given some options on a main ... ...well worth exploring. My Fifa --------- This feature lets you create your own players. It might seem like cheating and in a way it is but it gets you wanting to play the game more and when you create your own player it gives you more confidence in the game itself. Graphics --------------- The graphics for this game on the main menu are very good and yet on the game itself are beyond poor. The game lacks any depth and it appears to be the sort of ...

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic games DS
Advantages: lots of different events and lots of levals Disadvantages: price
...you would expect from a Mario and Sonic game. I found it a little bit difficult to get in to and to understand at frist but i have started to really enjoy it now, using the stilus for most events from swimming to archery, all of which are fun little games that can be quite chalanging and get harder quite fast. I have really enjoyed playing this game with its many different events you can get quite competative and to be honset quite addicted. I would ...

FLOP 08
Advantages: It is Football Disadvantages: Poor playablity, Poor sound, Little variety
You buy a Nintendo DS for the great games and great characters such as Mario, Link and Samus. However, you do not buy one for an amazing sports experience, and judging by this excuse for a game, that is a reassuring fact!
This game is the latest football production in the series, produce by EA Canada and then shipped out worldwide. Because of the limitations of the NDS system, the game has fewer teams, stadiums and game modes than other consoles. ... ...previously unseen innovation. However, this version uses an older engine.
I purchased this game with the hope of finding just something that will fill my need to play football while on the go. However, due to the fact that this game lacks any sort of proper playability, it is not an enjoyable experience. If you are looking for a decent football game, buy a new console or get the PSP version, and lets hope they don't bother wasting their time again. ...

Football management comes to the Nintendo DS! Football Director
Advantages: Fun, lots of potential Disadvantages: Too many bugs and irritations
...for the Nintendo DS game, Football Director, published by Pinnacle. The game is a football management simulator, one of the few available for the DS.
There have been many football management games available, but they usually work best on the PC, and haven’t usually translated as well onto other consoles. The formula in this game is the same as with most others, manage your team to victory by buying and selling players, clever use of tactics, choice ... ...one from some well known football presenter, but is instead just a series of sentences in text format. The sound effects are also not a great selection of football chants and realistic sounds, but rather just some random crowd noise, which is actually quite irritating after a while.
In terms of playing the game, this is quite well done, as it’s easy and accessible to find the menus that you want. Sometimes games can get a bit too in-depth and confusing, ...

The worst athletics game on the DS
Advantages: Easy to play and ideal for younger gamers Disadvantages: Poor graphics, poor sound, too much repetition to progress through the game
Asterix at the Olympics is yet another sports game released as a result of the 2008 Olympic games available for the Nintendo DS and as such has a lot to compete against.
In this game Asterix (the blonde haired Gaul with the bushy moustache, winged shoes and winged helmet) and his side kick, Obelix (the red headed Gaul with long plaits, big appetite and even bigger stomach) participate in a series of different events in a bid to win the Gaul Olympics, ... ...do bear some resemblance to Asterix and Obelix they are very blocky and not that crisp. They are not up to the standard I would expect of the DS.
The colours are OK but when compared to other games in this genre, such as Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, they are dull and unimaginative.
****Playability****
This game fully exploits the use of the touch screen and the stylus. Every single event is played using the stylus, unlike other games in this ...
