I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue. The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun.
As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name.
As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek, cars ect are great for them. Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean.
From an adults point of view i would have to say its just as much fun if not more we can take advantage of the chat rooms and linking up 2 DS's and playing each other! and that has to be one of its best bits, great for games like mario kart! but be warned with certain games each person has to have the game in! unlike some where just one person can own the game. it normally tells you this on the inside of the case. And then there is the wireless internet play! again a great thing to have but to be honest ive yet to give it a go so i cannot state on weather thats good or bad. but going on everything else i would guess its just as good.
I have to say my partner used to have a psp and as good as they are they where missing one big thing for me and thats the fun aspect and nintendo as always have got it. If i had to pick between the DS and the PSP the DS would come out on top for the fact it makes playing games fun again.
The price changes on these depending on the time of year and where you get them from the likes of argos sell them on there own with just the charger normally for around £100, but you can go to game or game station and they do package deals that come with a selection of games and accessories again the price depends on how big the package is and what time of year it is! we all know these things shoot up in price around december!

(+) i don't think their is one unless you wanna save on the electricity bill a tiny percentage. (-) There's really not much point to it. but i still love playstation!

Review of Nintendo DS Lite
Advantages: Cheap and fits in your pocket. Disadvantages: Low-end hardware. Easly scratched. Not as revolutionary as Nintendo would like you to believe.
