Hello there.thinking of buying a nintendo ds then well you should and this is why.The nintendo ds is an awsome little portable console.with the ability to go online and play the rest of the world for free.Yep no more bank sapping online fees like you get with sony or microsoft.The quality of the nintendo is second to none.I dropped mine and it was fine.I also like the fact that you can play multiplayer with just one cartridge via wireless download play.The graphics are impresive for the size of it.
You can easily fit the nintendo into your pocket,making it a true portable console.With plenty of games for all ages,the ds is a versatile handheld and well worth the money.
If you tried to buy a DS in december like my brother did doh! Then you will already now how popular they are now.This is great for nintendo but nintendo could have sold more last christmas easily.Stock supplies are still in demand.My brother went to by one from asda the other day and they were sold out again.So my advice is phone to check on supplies or look online.
However if you do get hold of one then I can recomend some essential games for you.First of all is the all time 42 classics game only 16 pound from hmv,asda,game,etc.This is a great game to get if you can only afford one.some of the games on the cartridge include chess,darts,texas hold em,5 card draw,drafts,blackjack,bowling,connect 5,battleships,pool,and many more.Oher games i recomend include mario cart,metroid prime,race driver create n race,legend of zelda the phantom hourglass,All these games are great and work online too via wi fi.battery life is about 4-8 hours depending on volume and screen brightness.You can just use the power pack though when close to a mains socket.You can also close the DS whilst playing to save battery life,sort of a like a fancy pause button.I love my ds and im sure you will too, trust me buy it! (+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.
Good review, although I know about the DS having own one myself, I feel that a bit more explaination of what the DS actually is and how it works, ie; its spit screen and touch screen capabilities would help other people who don't know... This will shoot your ratings straight up explaining a bit more about the console and its origins.... Keep it up...
