A slimmer and re-vamped version of the Nintendo DS. Couldn't have spent my money on anything better. This hand held portable boasts dual screen and touch sensitive gaming. WIFI-ready and can connect to other players. This console comes with a mic and some games are interactive eg: "Nintendogs"- User names their dog and the dog responds to their voice and commands. "Legend of Zelda The Phantom Hour Glass"-User must blow dust off of a map in order for it to become visible. You also must shout at certain characters in order to move on to certain places. The dual screen works in sync as in "The Phantom Hour Glass", you must press the top screen against the bottom screen to reveal your next path. Your stylus is stored in a handy little compartment on the side of the console, so people who lose things very easily, like myself, wont find themselves searching for it. I do recommend touch screen protectors though, as I have scratched the screen during my quest to beat the pants off of some character who is trying to do me in. The console itself will cost you $130.00 but you can pick up a used or refurbished one for about $100.00 Games can range in price according to popularity, from about $25.00 to $50.00 but most games can be picked up used for alot less. (excuse my use of US dollars) Games are also universal as this console is region-free. An added bonus, you can play all of your old Game Boy Advance games on this console. Though I keep my Game Boy Advance to play all of my old Game Boy Games. Most games are geared toward the young at heart and there are not that many adult rated games for this console. But thats ok in my book, it never hurts to be a kid again. Ok, to wrap it up, This console was worth every penny I spent for it and would recommend it to anyone who loves video games. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the touch screens can get scratched if you constantly hit them too hard, so yes, screen protectors are highly recommended.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
(+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.
I really dont see how the fact the $ signs in a review rather than £ signs can make a review somewhat helpful rather than helpful. Wherever the console was purchased wether it be the uk or the US makes no differance to the console. The review was about a Nintendo Lite not your political stance. Did i miss somewhere where it states the website is open to Uk citizens only. No? I didnt think so.

Review of Nintendo DS Lite
Advantages: Cheap and fits in your pocket. Disadvantages: Low-end hardware. Easly scratched. Not as revolutionary as Nintendo would like you to believe.
