First thing I love this console. It is slique, cool and absolutely beautiful. Compared to the normal DS lite they made it so much better and gave it a better shape.
The reason I love the Nintendo DS is because it is a touch screen. This makes it very interactive, the different games that you get allow you to do different things on the touch screen. Such things like in Pokemon Ranger you can catch pokemon by drawing a circle around the pokemon. Or in Cooking mama 2: cooking with friends. You can use the stylus and touch screen to cut, grater, stir, break etc food.
The amount of games you can play on this system is phenominal. All different games: sports, adventure, action, puzzles, even brain puzzlers like Big Brain Acadamy.

The Nintendo DS comes with PictoChat which allows you to speak to other Nintendo DS users. Also Download play which detects another user and you can play the game they are playing without the game card.
The Nintendo DS is also compatible with Game Boy Colour and Advance game cards.
I would recommend this hand held console as it offers the user so much it is unbelievable. It is also better for younger users as the games are more child friendly and less violent.
Overall this is a brilliant console to buy and a value for money.
