A DS lite is simply and electrical appliance that is a smaller less bulky version of the old DS. The DS lite has a better and brighter screen although I dont think it is anywhere near as strong as the old ones. The DSlites also have some buttons etc in differant places.
DS' not only play ds games but also gameboy games too. The DS has a fantastic built in chatroom called pictochat. Where you can send your friends messages wirelessly!!
And also if your DS game has a special feature wich allows you to play your game with another person with a DS but not with the same game, all you have to do is go on DS download and play and you can verse your friends in differant games!!!! Simply amazing in my oppinon.

I think this is an amazing piece of technology which could only be improved by making it a bit stronger. Other than that it is fantastic. It is portable wireless and even can play gameboy games!
I was intending to get the pink DS lite but they had all gone by the time I went to get one so Instead I have got the white one which is just as goo as I have decorated it in skickers.

It is very easy not at all difficult to understand, the bottom screen is touch but the top one isnt. Some of the games are a little complicated but deffonatly not the DS.
As the DS is not complicated or has no small pieces that could be cholked on I would recomend it to anyone who is 6 or over, it is as simple as that.
The only issue that you may want to think about is that it is quite expensive and delicate and it is a waste of money it it gets dropped on the floor.
And also one more thing the stick that you use for the touch sreen, it is not that sharp but it must be kept away from childrens eyes and if the end is chewn then it will not stay in its slot and will probably get lost so be aware of that.
But in my view it is very entertaining and can be brought on holiday for the plane or a car journey perhaps? But what ever it needs to be used for it is there and if it has low battery power you can buy a car charger that slots in to cigarrette lighters in cars. Oh no, u can't put stickers on it, it'll go al goey and stuff, lol. I have a black one. And yes I agree with you, my niece has one and she's chewed all of her stylus stick things, then she loses them because they're lose, then she has a mini strop,lol. Good piece. Faye x : )
