A great console. Nintendo has revolutionized the gaming world with the release of the Nintendo DS, and later of the DS lite, a nicer and smaller version of the somehow bulky and not very attractive Original DS.
The graphics aren't as good as other consoles such as PSP, but it's worth it. The games are great, and all the awesome Nintendo characters are there, Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Yoshi etc.
The touch screen concept is maybe the most attractive feature this console has, enabling a new dimension of play. User can control the game with a simple pencil-like accessory, making it much more simple and fun.
Howecer it doesn't have all the Multimedia features, but if you are interested in games, this console is for you.
Wireless mutliplayer gaming and PictoChat are two great features too.

(+) Plenty of storage space, for media. Good Games, Great for partys, with singstar. Very Reliable. (-) Sometimes the optical drive, breaks; but not very likely, my 60gb still working after 2 1/2 years.

Advantages: Cheap and fits in your pocket. Disadvantages: Low-end hardware. Easly scratched. Not as revolutionary as Nintendo would like you to believe.
