***NINTENDO DS***
The Nintendo DS is a handheld game console whch has 2 bright screens, 3D technoology and has touch screen technology. It also has wireless communication which means you can challenge your friends and family at any time & anywhere!

* Touch Screen Technology - You can use the touch screen by either using your finger, a blunt instrument or the stylus which is provided.

* Dual Screens - This gives you action on both screens wchih gives you twice the amount of added fun.

* Wi Fi Connection - This enables you to test your skills against players from around the world and with your friends and family.

* Microphone - This console has a built in microphone which gives you more ways to interact with friends and family and is also handy when playing games as well.

* Backwards Compatibility - You can also use Gameboy Game Advance play packs in the condole as well.

* Wireless LAN - Play with upto 16 players by creating a local wireless network, this works with people for upto 30-100 feet away!

* Headphone jack - Plugs your headphones in and enjoy playing the game when on public transport and other places to make it more personal.

* Rich Stereo Sound - The console has rich, stereo speakers which pump out virtual surround sound.

* Slim Design - This has a smaller, slimmer body which enables it to fit into bags and pockets without taking up much room.

* Long Life - 19 hours Continuous gameplay on 1 charge, this can be re-charged within 3 hours!

***DS ACCESSORIES***
You can buy many extra things for your DS including:

* Stylus packs - Just incase you loose any

* Cartridge Slot Cover - For when you have no game in the console, this prevents dust and dirt getting into where the game cartridge slides in.

* Screen Protectors - They are plastic sheet's which can be placed over the screens on the DS to prevent it from getting scratched or damaged.

* Cases - You can get a number of different cases for your console to protect it and prevent it from getting scratched and damaged when carrying it around with you.

There are many more themed bundles and accessories avaliable for the console.

***GAMES FOR THE NINTENDO DS***
You are get a large range of games, some of these include:

* Action - Star Wars, Bratz, Wall E, Brother in Arms and many more action games.

* Activity - Theory Training, Cooking Guide, Imagine Girl Band and more.

* Adventure - Barbie, Dinosaurs, Tomb Raider, Simpsons and more.

* Classic - Space Invaders, Scrabble, Top Trumps & more.

* Fighting - Mortal Kombat, Dynasty Warriors and more.

* Puzzle - Crossowords, Brain Training, Deal or No Deal & more!

* Racing - Wacky Races, Need for Speed, Mario Kart and more!

* Role Playing - Sonic, Pokemon, Final Fantasy and more!

* Sport - Fifa, Pro Evolution Soccer, Skate It, Cheerleader and more!

* Strategy - CSI, The Sims, Sim City, Dolphin Island and much more!

These are just a few examples of some of the games in each catagory but of course there are plenty of games to choose from.

The games can range in price from £15.00 upto £40. When games are first released they can be quite expensive but if you leave it a few weeks on a month or so this game will no doubt be reduced in price!

***MY NINTENDO DS***
I bought my Nintendo DS just over 1 year ago from Argos. The only one avaliable was in black so I purchased this one for just over £100.00. I also bought an accessory pack which came with a case, spare stylus, cleaning cloth, screen protectors, ear-phones and game cases to keep my games in when I'm on the move.

I regularly play my nintendo DS game when I am on long train or bus journeys. I haven't ever used the ear-phones, I just turn the volume down on the console.

I have to admit that I don't play my Nintendo a huge amount, only when I am travelling on the train or bus. I am 23 and I find a lack of games for people my age or older.

My mum loves her playing her nintendo DS and she likes to play Crossworkds and Sudoku, but these games don't interest me.

I own a few games including Worms, Scrabble & Spyro. I haven't bought a new game for a while as there hasn't been many out which I have wanted to try.

There seems to be a huge range of children's games such as Pokemon, Barbie, Postman Pat, Bob the Builder, etc and only a limited choice for older people.

The games for the nintendo vary and some of these can cost upto £40 each. I always look in the Trade In section in Game as your can normally find the games you want for a cheaper price.

***USING THE DS***
The nintendo ds is easy use and is very light to hold and can easily fit into a bag or maybe even a pocket. The stylus slips into the back of the console safely so you don't loose the stylus and the games are easy to put into the slot in the back and are simple to remove. Just simply push the game into the slot and push it again when yo are ready to remove it and the game will just pop out.

There is an off/off switch on the side which you just slide to switch on or off, there is also a volume switch as well which also slides to control the volume!

The graphics on the nintendo DS are pretty impressive and are also in 3D as well. The colour of the screen is brilliant and the sound is pretty impressive as well. I think the sound is quite loud when you have it up on the top volume.

Some games require you to use the stylus and the game controls which includes directional buttons and 4 other lettered buttons. There is 2 other buttons on either side of the console on the back which are easy to use, using your finger when holding the console. There are sometimes used in games to change the view/camera angle.

***RECOMMENDED?***
This is a great console and gives great entertainment for a few hours. They are great to take when going on long journeys as the battery lif is very long and there's a great range of games to choose from as well.

You can make them more personalised by choosing your favourite colour and getting accessory packs to match as well.

I would recommend this console to anyone as there's games for everyone to play but more so for younger children.
