Recommendable: Yes

Advantages Portable, long battery life (aprox 15 - 19 hours), Good game selection,

Disadvantages Grafics for most DS games aren't as good as most other games. But still work just fine.

Nintendo DS Lite


I have owned a DS Lite for two or three years now and I still use it at least once a week. And I'm seventeen going on eighteen rather soon. In my opinion I really like this product for the reason of it being lite and portable which means you can take it anywhere are use it wherever. This was a good feature for me because I tend to travel a lot and I don't sleep much which means I can always just pick it up and use it as I please. The NDS Lite has;
  • A headphone jack so everyone else doesn't need to hear your game
  • Volume control
  • 1 Touch screen and 1 LCD screen
  • A place for your styles
  • a place for Game cartridges in the back and a bigger one in the front for older styled ones.
    I am satisfied with my DS as I have had it for three years and it still goes fine, however it does depend on how you treat it. It has a very large amount of games you can play on it which I enjoy and not all are childish. There is a good selection of horror and puzzle games for this console.
    I would suggest this to parents who want to get their child something to play as this console has a lot of educational games as well as some nice options of Mario Kart or Princess Party or whatever the child likes.
    I would recommend getting a case and screen protectors for it.
