The Nintendo NES is such a quality system. Most of the games that came out for it are really cool even today, looks at wild gunman and operation wolf for use with the Zapper gun. The graphics, if the developer did put in the work, are really cool. Kids of all ages could enjoy most games. The only issue with the system was the cost of the games. In the UK you could expect to pay, at a point, £40 per game. The Hardware alone was about 100-120 depending what set you got, gun or no gun, game included. So by the time you got a few games you would have paid the same price of the hardware to use it on.
On the whole it is a great system. These days you can pick them up cheap from www.qxl.co.uk or www.ebay.co.uk.
