Every Nintendo DS comes with a stylus so you can make use of the unique and interesting touch screen the Nintendo DS has without leaving hundreds of little fingerprints on it which make everything look really ugly and using the stylus is much more effective. One problem with the stylus though is that they are very easy to lose! It seems impossible to have the same stylus without losing it for more than about 3 months! This problem is even worse if you buy one of the many fancy styluses as they don`t fit in the little slot that is designed to hold them as they are normally too large or even too small so just fall out making it even easier to lose! more

The DS Lite has a slightly different stylus which is thinner and longer and I do prefer these ones to the original although there is very little difference. The styluses are made of plastic and can come in all sorts of different colours, blue, green, black, pink, white, silver and many others! There are also many other styluses and I have one that looks like a crayon! You use the end of them to tap the touch screen of the Nintendo DS.
One problem with the stylus though is that they are very easy to lose! It seems impossible to have the same stylus without losing it for more than about 3 months! Overall the Nintendo DS stylus is quite good and very useful however I wish they were not so easy to lose! It is amazing how many variations there are for such a basic item and means you can change your DS into a “fashion item” I guess or at least give it its own style so it stands out from the crowd!

If you search on Amazon you will find many different packs of styluses and from many different sellers! One I have found from the Marketplace is £1.09 for 4 styluses in different colours and that is from a very quick search!
