WWE Smackdown! vs Raw 2008 (Nintendo Wii)
Review of WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2008 (Wii) by WhiteyY2J

Advantages: New controls system (the Wii Remote), taunts and wrestlers.
Disadvantages: A little too easy in some parts, enjoyable for a few weeks - 1 1/2 months then gets a little boring.

WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2008 on the Wii is a disappointment, to say the least. I myself am a WWE fan, but this game does not exactly fill me with excitement. Firstly, there are only 5 match types, while the PS3 and Xbox etc. get many more including Hell in a Cell and Ironman. Also, the lack of weapons is appalling. Take the Hardcore matches, for example. WWE has plenty of weapons, such as tables, ladders etc., and THQ only puts steel chairs in the Wii ...
...brilliant, swinging the Wii remote to perform moves on your opponent, though they do get a little frustrating at times. The commentary, however, is a little repetetive, with certain phrases being repeated 2-3 times during matches. The taunts are good, but do get boring after a while. Story Mode is so-so, starting at newcomer rank and making your way up to main event level. It is a little too easy though. Tournaments are poor, King of the Ring is easy ... Read review

Mortal Kombat
Review of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (Wii) by sezzy_g2

Advantages: Not just one type of game play, create your own characters, kicking your m8s ass!
Disadvantages: Cant play online, only one character for the story mode (Konquest)

...both the Nintendo Wii and Mortal Komat so please bear with me if I dont get all of the technical terms correct. I bought Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for £29.98 on amazon, and I must say it was well worth it! Being new to the Wii I thought I would buy a basic game that almost anybody can play - Fighting. But not only does this game have fighting, you can also play racing and for this you have to turn the remote sideways and just move in which ever ...
...you collect Koins, with these you can then update your created fighter with special moves which will then help you defeat greater opponants. I would definatly reccomend this game to anyone that is even into thier mortal Komat anyway or those who like fighting games, its a must have! ... Read review

Dragonball Z fans rejoice!
Review of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 (Wii) by nickrein

Advantages: Fast action, Long campaign, Great multiplayer, Fun MoteMovements, Many characters
Disadvantages: Repetitive moves, Steep learning curve, Not for DBZ haters

One of the first fighting games for the Wii, Budokai Tenkaichi 2 brings a lot of action to the console. (Legend: +++ = Good, --- = Bad) +++ No game that I have played as of yet even compares to the quantity and fun-ness (yes it should be a word) of the Wii-mote actions. You want to do a Kamehameha? Move the Wiimote and Nunchuk backwards then forwards, just like the motion Goku (or whomever) does. +++ Teleportation is no longer a spam-fest. Unlike ...
...down button no longer works (thankfully!). It also seems to require very little ki, so good players will be able to use it a lot, but not so much that it can ruin the game. +++ So many characters to play. I believe there are over 100. Such hilarious characters as Master Roshi and Hercules are included, while others are very powerful, such as SSJ4 Gogeta. +++ 15 levels to play on! Great variety and it's hard to get sick of them. They're pretty large ... Read review

My honest review of Super Smash Bros Brawl
Review of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) by NinjaPanda

Advantages: Great Gameplay, Amazing Multiplayer, Awesome Cinematics
Disadvantages: Lackluster singleplayer, Boring AI

Super Smash Bros Brawl. What can I say another great game in the Smash Bros series is what I say. Incase you don't know what Super Smash Bros is, it is a fighting game which pits Nintendo characters against eachother and In this game (Brawl) it even broadens the game to include characters from other companies for the first time in the series. Is this a good thing? Hell yes! Read on. ...
...This is where super smash bros brawl shines! The multiplayer on this is golden and will provide you with hours upon hours of entertainment with frantic fights lightning fast and the amazing stages giving you a real sense of danger especially on one level where a huge wave of lava crashes down on the whole stage and only one small safety tube appears for you to get in... SINGLEPLAYER Theres not ... Read review

No need to get violent, everyone will get a copy..
Review of Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) by kungfuhuppie

Advantages: Brilliant multiplayer fun and an array of new modes and minigames.
Disadvantages: The game is virtually flawless.

...postponed more times than GTA4, Super Smash Bros. Brawl promises to be the bestselling game of 2008. With over 60 characters, 24 stages and more still to come, Brawl provides novelty value for veteran players and newcomers alike. Aside to the familiar multiplayer battle stages, Brawl provides one thing the previous Smash Bros. games did not, a fun, action packed single-player mode with a compelling plot. 'The Subspace Emissary' allows the player ...
...of stadiums; the adventure allows you travel across distant lands, meeting old friends and battling new enemies. This mode promises endless hours of fun and a real challenge for hardcore Smash Bros. fans. The game provides good fun for all players and has reached perfection for the classic multiplayer battles. The game also has a large array of minigames for players to try in their spare time (when they are not fighting it out in the stadiums, that ... Read review
