At last a reason to own a Wii
Advantages: Fun, Long life span, Multi-player, lots to do, Lots of characters Disadvantages: My online doesn't seem to work
...a lot of fun with Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Having never (consciously) played any of the other games in the series I knew little other than it was a fighting game with lots of Nintendo characters from through out the ages that had managed to give fan boys the fantasies they never get to have about women. It was one of the reasons listed as buying a Wii by many friends, in fact for some it was THE reason for owning a Wii, it was a game that would have ... ...as you chose to play the game instead through the night just to realise it was the next day.
So with absolutely no hesitation I purchased it (my sister decided not to go half each) for £30 from Christmas money at the time and as we bored of Mario Kart (she's useless at it) we started to play this...then played this...then continued to play this...and played it some more. Starting off as playing the normal versus mode we enjoyed fighting in the house ...

Ready to Rumble: Revolution. Left-hook to the bargain bin i think
Advantages: Good characters, Cartoon graphics are a little fun. Disadvantages: A few too many mistakes! Game takes a while to detect movements! No rhythm, Not actually boxing!
This game is good fun and quite easy for all the family to get involved.
Choose from 18 cartoon boxers, all of which are impersinations of celebrities from the music, movie and sporting worlds. Characters include Brad Pitt (as he appeard in the yr 2000 film 'Snatch'), Jack Black in his school uniform, David Beckham with a fetching mohawk, John Travolta, Davit Hasselhof and many more!!
The overall presentation of the game is quite solid and although ... ...is a create the boxer mode so you can customize your look if you do not fancy being a celeb!
Multiplayer offers a good laugh with a variety of sections. You can play a quick match, team match, or go the whole hog in a tournament.
You can opt for the Arcade mode too offering simple gameplay and the opportunity to unlock boxers as you earn and spend the cash, also unlocking character customisations.
Or in single player you could opt for the career ...

Don King Boxing WII game (Not worth it)
Advantages: Controls are easy to learn Disadvantages: Poor story line!
...boards and video footage of Don King saying a couple of words. The boxing matches there where 3 really hard matches out of about 10 to complete the whole story line, that's it 10 matches and the game is completed, so I was annoyed, as I think this game could have gone along way. The is no shop to buy new gear nothing. The Controls The controls and instructions on the screen are very good and clear to understand, it didn't take long to pick up the ... ...sure what much else I can say, apart from if you want to rubbish practice boxing game for the WII then buy this one but don't spend anymore then a £10 as its not worth anymore, its a let down. I'm know going to purchase Championship Show Boxing and see its that better, keep you posted. Thanks Amy ...

Castlevania comes out fighting
Advantages: Nice character designs. Decent online play. It's got the Castlevania look. Disadvantages: Not the best fighting game on the Wii. Doesn't really feel like Castlevania.
...option to link up with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia on the DS, to unlock bonus content in both games, although I've not tested this. Graphically, it's pretty good with the Castlevania theme strong throughout. The animation is top notch with some beautifully done finishing moves. Manga artist Takeshi Obata, contributes the character designs giving them a distinctive look. Regulars from the series will be pleased to see the likes of Simon Belmont, ... ...suitably gothic backdrops to set the scene for those brief moments where there's a lull in the action for you to look at them. Controls are by the Wii-mote and the nunchuk, although you can use the classic or GameCube controllers if you prefer. Movement with the analogue stick on the nunchuk is highly responsive, but some of the gestured moves are a bit hit and miss, which seems a pretty common theme with Wii games. For a beat 'em up on the Wii, ...

Mortal Kombat
Advantages: Not just one type of game play, create your own characters, kicking your m8s ass! Disadvantages: Cant play online, only one character for the story mode (Konquest)
...both the Nintendo Wii and Mortal Komat so please bear with me if I dont get all of the technical terms correct.
I bought Mortal Kombat: Armageddon for £29.98 on amazon, and I must say it was well worth it!
Being new to the Wii I thought I would buy a basic game that almost anybody can play - Fighting. But not only does this game have fighting, you can also play racing and for this you have to turn the remote sideways and just move in which ever ... ...you collect Koins, with these you can then update your created fighter with special moves which will then help you defeat greater opponants.
I would definatly reccomend this game to anyone that is even into thier mortal Komat anyway or those who like fighting games, its a must have! ...
