The reason I wrote, "Lyrics Change you outlook on life for good." is because it does change your outlook/perception on life and the many obstacles through out it in a good way and a bad way.

I love Nirvana and hold great admiration for Kurt Cobain's lyrics and innner thoughts, outlooks etc.. He was a God and took his music seriously and obviously did not realise the effect positive/negative it was going to have on people. Kurt never thought highly of himself and thought of himself as an average due when really he was a Christ Like Figure to millions. Although Kurt Cobain is dead his music will live on for years to come and in people's minds he is still alive and with us.

Kurt Cobain was born on: 20th February 1967
Born In: Hoquiam, Washington, USA

Kurt Cobain Died on: 5th April 1994
Died in: Seattle, Washington, USA
Died of: Apparent Suicide

Kurt Coabin was anti-social and withdrawn throughout his life he was often mistaken for being "homesexual" although he wasn't on several occasions he got beat up for this. The reason for this was probabaly because he hung out with "homesexuals" because thats the kind of people he felt he could be himself with and be genuine. Also this is where he would be liked for the right reasons. He was also really disturbed because his Mother and Father's divorce hit him really hard, this stirred up alot of mix emotions for him.
In 1986 he formed Nirvana that consisted of him (Kurt Cobain) and bassist Krist Novoselic and eventually drummer and Dave Grohl.(currently in Foo Fighters) By 1998 they were doing shows in random places and giving out demo tapes. In 1989 Nirvana ended up recording Bleach for Sub-Pop who were a localindependant label.
Nirvana were well-known in Britain rather that American so they signed up to Geffen and recorded the Nevermind album which had big hits the biggest hit later on was an anthem, "smells like teen spirit" although there was many more hits from that album and many more to come with their furthur albums.

In 1992 Kurt Cobain got married to Courtney Love and had a daughter called Frances Bean Cobain. Nirvana released their next album Incesticide later that year. The album appealed to many fans due to the liner notes, which expressed Kurt's open-mindness and his deeper thoughts.

(Apparent) Suicide Attempt 1
Kurt was in a coma and taken to hospital for an "apparent" suicide attempt according to Courtney Love.

(Again "Apparent") Suicide Attempt 2 (..Fatal..)
On April 8th Kurt's dead body was found in his Seattle home, in his hand was a gun and beside him was a needle and a box with Heroin inside. Kurt had took three fatal amounts of Heroin, by doing this he would have been in an automatic coma so he would not have been able hold a gun let alone operate one. Beside him also was a suicide note that could have been a letter to his fans saying that he was going to give up the music world and live a normal life. On the suicide note the last few words were "I love you, I love you".

He release amazing albums:
Bleach (1989)
Nevermind (1991)
Incesticide (1992)
In Utero (1993)
Hormoaning (1993)
Unplugged In New York (1994)
From The Muddy Banks Of The Whishkah (1996)
Nirvana (2002)
With The Lights Out (2004)

Most of these albums came out after his death because they were unreleased. The Ironic thing about Nirvana is most Nirvana fans just liked Kurt Cobain, and also Nirvana became more famous after Kurt Cobain's death.

Kurt Cobain was one of the most talented musicians that ever lived. A real loss. x

I was introduced to listening to them by my sons although some of the posters they had of Kurt Cobain were a bit dark and unusual. Fionaxx.

I dunno about the "god" bit, and Nirvana were just as popular when he was alive (trust me I was there at the time) but your enthusiasm is obvious. Be interesting to see what stuff they would be doing now if he was still alive.
