Advantages: everything, so easy to tune and make faster

easily the best car i have ever owned. the 200sx uk version is fitted with the sr20det engine same engine thats in the almera gti but with a nice t28 turbo fitted to it, as stadard the 200sx s14 range is 200bhp uk version the silvia jdm import version is 220bhp when imported and the newer s15 200sx is imported with a nice 250bhp the uk version has abs airbags, touring versions have a few added extras like passenger side air bags side skirts leather ...
...with a little tuning becomes a very quick car, the one i had i managed to stage 2 tune the car and have 300bhp and 330ft/lb toruqe from the car which tran a 13.2 sec 1/4 mile. i sold the car recently but wish i haddent, would have another on in a heart beat. excellent cars with all the features you need in a modern car with the japanese build quality and usual easy tuning you expect from a nissan. ...

graet car while it lasted!

Advantages: cheap, fun anf fast
Disadvantages: boot rust, and big ends

Well i always wanted one of these after first seeing drifting. So only after a few months after discovering the car i own one, an S13 model and what a bargin!! 400 quid on ebay! It had 6 months mot so i was well chuffed. I live in manchester and i collected from surrey and she ran a dream on the way home, no problems what so ever. As for power 170bhp standard, myself i upped the boost frm the T25 turbo and she was running around 200bhp with a de cat also fitted. 200sx an excellent sports coupe

Advantages: fast and fun
Disadvantages: regular oil changes needed

...rust is just standard as Nissan put a sponge on the tailgate. Other common places are the arches and sills. Also keep your ears open for knocking from the rear bushes as these have a tendancy to go. Don't let these few problems put you off this truly amazing car though because if you find a good one then believe me you could never be disappointed! Hope this has been a big help to you all. ...

if you never liked Nissan, this will surprise you

Advantages: real sports car performance without attracting too many stares
Disadvantages: she's a little older and parts are getting into the "hard to get" bracket

My Nissan 200SX was something of an impulse purchase - I needed a car, and this was immediately available to me at the time. Shipped with an SR20DET motor, an automatic transmission, the 200SX was supposed to be my daily commute to and from work. Being into street racing, I was not really aware of this car, until its inclusion in the movie "the Fast and the Furious"... So, I took it on the road, rolled down the windows and rolled back the sunroof...this ...

The car's safety features are damned good, but be sure to maintain it, because I can say from experience, this car skidded off the highway, flipped about 5 or 6 times and I walked away without a scratch - literally. 1998 (R) Nissan 200SX (Facelift model 14a)

Advantages: Cheap, Powerful, Luxury
Disadvantages: Thirsty when driven hard

...price, built on the solid Nissan SR20DET 2.0litre/16valve engine with Turbocharger its good for 198+ bhp, 0 to 60 under 7 secs and on to 140 + mph. (This comes at an Insurance cost!
