Well, it's different!
Advantages: It's different, it puts a smile on your face; resale value, economical Disadvantages: Parts can be expensive & hard to find, white interior will get dirty quick
...its younger market’. Nissan were a very conservative run company producing well made & reliable cars but aside from a handful of models they would hardly get the adrenaline pumping. Young Japanese buyers would rather buy Honda or Toyota as they were more focused on the ‘youth’ market & ‘cool’ to be seen in.
THE PIKE FACTORY
With the help of some young & inspiring engineers Nissan produced three highly individual models that were to be produced ... ...produced another niche model for Nissan in 1985 called the Be-1.
Their first new project car was called the Pao (say it POW!), a rather boxed shaped utilitarian looking three door hatchback which looks like it had been influenced by the old war time VWs. It featured a grille that wouldn’t look out of place on a 1950s electric fire, external door hinges, loads of painted metal inside & it had a back to basics look about it. Only 10.000 were produced ...

Nissan Pixo is a great city car
Advantages: Economy, driving experience, pretty much everything! Disadvantages: No rev counter (though it wouldn't bother most people!)
...than Micras, almost like a Nissan Note's much prettier and less chunky little sister. As anyone who has shopped for a small car will probably realise, the waiting lists since the scrappage scheme started have been huge. The Nissan Pixo is no exception - we got ours quickly as it just happened that the day we visited the showroom someone had cancelled an order, so we snapped it up. The salesman informed us that these cars are so popular under the ... ...this little car. It's an ideal city car in my opinion, and does its job for me economically and efficiently. It's probably not one for true petrol heads but is just great for getting from A to B. A brilliant little car from Nissan. Summary: A Nissan triumph! ...

A worthy little car with unusual looks
Advantages: Package, to drive, nippy, economical, relaible Disadvantages: To many, its looks will put people off
...have issued is not a Nissan Micra.
It’s an anniversary probably no one knew much about, 25 years is a long time & a milestone worth celebrating. However, this anniversary in the middle of a recession was only probably celebrated by a handful of marketing people & the odd factory worker. What am I on about?
Well the 25th anniversary of the humble Nissan Micra recently happened; did it have much effect on you? No I thought not, much the same with ... ...to run & reliable.
NISSAN MICRA
If there is one single thing that may put you off buying the new Micra it will probably be its looks. Although a subjective matter looks are important & the new Micra is certainly different against normal small cars.
It’s the ‘bug eyed’ headlamps that do it for most, those lamps are not fitted like most cars at the very front of the car but they are placed back into the bonnet line close to the windscreen. It does ...

Nissan Note N-tec hits the mark
Advantages: storage space, head and leg room, style, pleasant and tasteful dashboard, good road holding Disadvantages: long but still narrow, styling of the seats is unadventurous
...we found ourselves in the Nissan showroom. I had always liked the look of the Nissan Micra but the car had always been too small for our needs. Then I spied the Note. Ir resembled the Micra but in a chunky family sized way. The shape, feel and space won over my wife and the shape, size and technology won me. Headroom is good and there's plenty of legroom throughout the Note. I found myself moving the front passenger seat forward this morning, so ... ...(N-tec) in built sat nav. Nissan Connect comes as standard on the N-tec and allows you to receive a basic satellite navigation service on the user friendly very visible dashboard screen. It is easy to program but fairly basic compared to most stand alone systems. It also allows Bluetooth connectivity with compatible mobile phones. My mother in law was very impressed the first time my wife took a call in the car. My children loved talking from the ...

This car lost me weight!
Advantages: Walking Disadvantages: You actually have to buy these cars - Nissan should pay you to take them!
...don’t buy an X Trail.
Nissan make excellent cars – compared to match box! We never had our hand out of our pocket with this car, dealers were terrible as well.
I would say if you want to compare this to another car – well you simply couldn’t. It’s just Pish! We had electrical failures, wheel bearings, break problems, alarm problems, the only thing that didn’t go wrong was the horn – and that just sounds like a child’s toy so to be perfectly honest, ...
