    A few months ago I took early retirement, which meant giving up the company car. I had a free rein to look around for my own vehicle, and although I had been a bit spoilt by my previous car, a Peugeot 406 2 litre GTX, I wanted something just a bit different. Basically I was after a 5 door hatchback, around 2 litre, diesel turbo, with low emissions. I also had a budget of around £14k After looking at a number of different manufacturers I finally settled on the Nissan Almera 2.2 DI. It's a nice size,not too big nor too small.
