The rear seating is well appointed and has a novel centre seat which folds forward to provide a nice sized table top and drinks holder for the 2 passengers. All 3 rear seats fold away neatly and easily although it has to be said that rear passenger accommodation is not suitable for large or long legged people but is perfect for children.

Deceptively large for what is regarded as a small MPV. It is very comfortable with a well designed driver area. It does take a little time to adjust to the many electronic controls etc. The satnav in particular needs time to set up and is not capable of accepting post code entries but destinations can be set very accurately if you can trace them on the map. The motoring press reviews all complain of excessive "body roll" when cornering but as you sit fairly high above the suspension it is only to be expected, it is not as bad as they would have you believe though and is only when entering and leaving corners or when the very responsive steering is tweaked a bit quickly. Other smaller engined Tino's owners mention sluggishness as a problem but this is not the case with the 2.2 diesel. With a 6 speed box and a very whistley turbo this is not sluggish actually seems to enjoy hills. Under the bonnet it is reasonably uncluttered with all fillers and levels easy to reach and check. 42 - 45 mpg is adequate without being outstanding but combined with the performance and Nissan reliability this makes a very nice mechanical package. Reasonable emissions mean road tax is bearable and insurance is in quite a low group considering what you get. All in all this is a very, very nice friendly vehicle.
