I am a young at heart gizmo loving 64 year old grandad going on 30, I was rated in the top 1% by mensa some years ago by completing a test paper at home (did'nt cheat), DIY a speciality, retired from work 28th April 2006. I love ebay and Nintendo Wii.

Having had two other Nissans from the same local dealer, a Micra and an Almera, I know Nissans are well built and very reliable. In the past, Nissans have been described as bland by some people but the Note is a world away from that. I got all the techy info off the net and traded in my two year old HondaHR-V, having never actually sat in a Note I was quite gobsmacked at the difference between my other two Nissans. All the heater, air con and vents are controlled by electronic dials, the audio system has a six CD auto changer and sounds superb, there is provision for MP3 connection and bluetooth mobile phone with onboard microphone and speaker. The seats are half leather with 60/40 rear split, pull down arm rest for driver and rear seat passengers. The rear seats can be moved back and forth by means of a handle in the boot, the boot has a false floor so all the bits and bobs you carry around can be kept out of sight, the spare is a compact spacesaver type, the wing mirrors can be retracted electronically and wipers are auto rain sensitive, the lights are also auto light sensitive, all windows are electric and can all be controlled by the driver, drivers window is fully auto up/down if needed. Driving the car is very good, it has a sporty feel to it, the engine is responsive and brakes are very good, having only done one long trip in it, as most of my journeys are short hops in towns, the fuel consumtion is running at 42mpg which for a 1.6 engine is good. The on road cost for the car should be £13,500 but mine was a staff car with 500 miles on the clock only a few months old, I paid £10,500 and I would recommend to anyone to look for these sort of deals as I'm sure you're all well aware of the first year depreciation on a brand new vehicle, I will never buy another brand new vehicle again while these sort of deals are available. In closing I should state that this review relates to the top of the range TEKNA and a mention that the tyres are only manufactured by Continental, they are an unusual size and cost around £90 each.
