Advantages comfortable on long motorway journeys, cheap parts
Disadvantages Poor fuel consumption on city driving, long length is bad for parking
I've had a 2000 Primera for a year now, and it's the best car I've had so far! Handles well, especially for a bigger car, and it's made the long journeys I have to undertake a pleasure. I have not experienced any costly repairs for this car and the full MOT history shows that it hasn't needed much work done, so I can say that they are pretty reliable.
On the negative side, the car is long and therefore parking is not always easy (in the UK) and fuel consumption off the motorways isn't the best - down from 650-700 miles to 400, if that.Parts are cheap and readily available from any independent or national garage.
I bought 2nd hand for £700 with 60k miles on the clock - a very good buy second hand!
