The sunny Gti-r was inspired, by nissan who developed this car to compete with the Lancia Delta Intergarally in the world rally championships. The car was released in 1991 and only had 3 short years of production, making the latest model available a 1994. Equiped with a 2.0ltr turbo engine 4 wheel drive and a 0-60 time of 5.9secs. The 220bhp car is a dream to drive!! There is no real difference between the nissan pulsar and the nissan sunny the only one being the name, 'Pulsar' is Japaniese for 'Sunny' Therefore the only difference being between the two is that the pulsar was manufactured in Japan where as the sunny was produced here in Britain. As far as buying one if uve got a spare £6000 approx, and appreciate a quick good handling car then i would recommend this one for you. The cars come equipped with air conditioning, power steering, ABS, and electric windows and mirrors. Insurance is a nightmare, with this car being a group 20 the insurance companies take no prisioners!!! This car is also highly tunable but very fragile if buying i would recommend from a dealer at least then there is a warrenty and a come back if something goes drastically wrong. I bought my one 3months ago and already having major work done its under warrenty though so im quite happy!! To give you as rough idea what to pay for one My one was 1991 with 41,000miles completely standard on purchase, and i paid £5995 Although its broken down already(3rockers, 2bent valves and a cracked cylinder head) i would not change it for the world!! i invite you to be a part of one of Nissans true wonders!!!!
