The X-trail...has the X-factor !
Advantages: Practical, well built, more than capable off-road for most Disadvantages: Engines are noisy when pushed
...car being reviewed is the Nissan X-trail, Sports expedition model which includes a list of extras a: Satnav, rear view parking camera, climate control aircon, and a switch for the transmission, which allows the driver to choose between 4WD, 2WD, or 4WD with lock differential. The X-trail will also automatically switch between 2WD and 4WD when it detects a wheel slipping. Plus the added easy to open glass sunroof, made the car feel even more spacious. ... ...available space further.
X-trail's have been around since 2001 and so used models can be found in most places to suit most budgets. Overall I think the Nissan X-trail is a terrific buy New and 2nd hand..as I think it's reliable, easy to repair when needed and practical.. ...

The choice of adventure person
Advantages: Design, stylist, perfomance Disadvantages: Fuel consumption
Nissan X-trail had the strong model with design like the box that made the typical characteristics to be special, high the roof was not very high like the car SUV other. Ground clearance was high enough so as if being used in broken room could be relied on.
For the interior, the quality made by the material very good in spite of that also with the quality dashboard. The steering and really was good to be held and light. The steering wheel and the ... ...the country road handling.
Like generally Nissan cars, the suspension and comfort of x-trail is more than general the class car of SUV. If you are a person who had the spirit of the wanderer and liked the kind SUV car, x-trail could become one of the choices. ...

We purchased an X-Trail nearly three months ago and are delighted with most aspects of the vechicle. There are only two problems that we have encountered both to do with size. One is the size of the boot which is disapointing in the extreme. A few bags of shopping and that is it full, there is no room for anything else.
The other problem is that our dog can't jump high enough to get into the boot. She looks really funny perched with her front paws ...

X-Trail - Good, but could have been so much better
Advantages: Comfy, roomy, high off the road and plenty of umph Disadvantages: Sad lack of facilities and information for the keen driver
...I aspired to change my Nissan Primera for an X-Trail. I was impressed with their looks and the constant accolades they received from "What Car?" and others. I was also very impressed with they way they seemed to take to the road with consummate ease, sail past in the outside lane on the motorway and to glide over the road bumps like an elegant ballroom dancer!
In October I had the opportunity to change my car and bought a second-hand (2004) 2.2 ... ...features" were available on my Nissan Primera - so why couldn't they put them in the much more costly X-Trail? The features that are missing are : an interior light inside the main glove box, a map-reading light (not necessarily just for reading maps), lights either side of the courtesy mirrors on the sun visors and proper driving information.
A critical issue for me is the lack of a separate thermometer reading for checking the outside temperature. ...
