If you burn easily then this is the spray to get, I have tried many after sun lotions in the past, but you cannot beat the aftersun spray. It absorbs easily into the skin and does not leave your skin feeling greasy like some lotions do. The spray is great for applying on the skin, as you can spray it directly onto the skin as opposed to having to apply lotion with your hands, which I find quite messy, especially when sitting on the sand. I was really impressed with this product and I have already been into Boots and stocked up on some more for my next holiday. It leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and very cool, brilliant if you have been sunbathing all day and have got really sore sunburnt skin. I have fair skin, so whenever I go on holiday or to the seaside I always have the old after sun spray in my bag.

Advantages: tingly & reliable Disadvantages: too expensive
personnally i liked the was this was applied though i dont see how much different it is to an normal cream as you still have to rub it in. Nice and cooling on sore skin, left a tingly cool feeling. Calmed down redness overnight, great for kids on hols but i would reccomend that if you need after sun you buy a less expensive version as it all does the same job. Some one told me to try yoghurt! i dont know about that but i would be willing to try in ...

...NIVEA - Cooling AfterSunSpray
*WHAT IT DOES*
Niveaaftersunspray helps cool your skin and sooth it after it has been exposed to the sun. It is particularly helpful if you have gotten sunburnt as it helps restore your damaged skin. The Aloe Vera soothes the skin, whereas the Provitamin B5 and Vitamin E helps repair your skin and store lost moisture. This will help make your skin be in better condition and protect against premature skin ageing due to sun damage.
*INTRODUCTION*
I have very fair skin and burn easily, so I decided to buy aftersun as I am in the sun a lot and was anticipating the worst. Thank goodness, so far on my travels I have only been burnt badly once so I was very thankful of having this product. I will stress to anyone who is going to be exposed to the sun for long periods of time to cover up (wear lose...

Advantages: Quick and easy Disadvantages: Not particuarly long lasting
...recently and for the whole it was very effective, although it didn't seem to last as long as conventional creams. It gave decent protection from the sun so long as I remembered to reapply pretty reguarly. It claims to be water resistant so it might survive a quick couple of lengths of the pool - it certainly didn't last for longer periods for me with quite dramatic consequences! Luckily Nivea also do an AfterSunSpray in the same bottles except they are light blue. This stuff works well if you forget to reapply often like me, and has the added effect of cooling your skin down with the spray. If you were going to use this in a very hot and very sunny place I'd suggest you use a separate stronger creme for delicate areas like the face and shoulders. Make sure to put some back on after getting out of the pool/sea just to be sure.

Advantages: Clean and easy to use Disadvantages: a little pricey but aren't they all?!?
...I am unfortunately one of these people that can be allergic to things like sun tan lotion and aftersun creams and after trying a few (expensive but necessary!) I found NiveaSunSpray. I tried this one and liked it immediately. It sprayed a nice even cooling spray of lotion onto your skin. Then, all you have to do is spread it about a bit and thats it. The nice thing about the NiveaSunspray is that there are knobbly bits on the sides of the bottle so when your hands are a bit greasy and you are trying to spray the lotion, the bottle doesn't slip out of your hands. The lotion is a little on the expensive side (approx £7 - £8) but it does last well and what price do you put on you keeping your skin?!?
I then also moved to using Niveaaftersun too once I had found that I wasn't allergic to Nivea. The lotion isn't too greasy...
