This is a review for Nivea moisturising aftersun with Aloe Vera, which is the product (I guess) that replaced the vitamin E version. I could not find a suitable picture.
I am not one for cosmetics of any kind really though i am very prone to dry and peeling skin after being in the sun, so I thought that I had better invest in something before a recent holiday to mid South West France.
The temperatures were from 75 to 95 degrees F everyday for two weeks and I certainly caught the sun, my face and neck especially, even though i used factor 40 suntan lotion.
I used the aftersun every day at least twice a day and I have had no dryness, no peeling and the best skin condition and colour that I have had for years.
The large bottle (400ml) was free when I bought suntan lotion from Boots (BOGOF), very easy to apply, not at all greasy and no great fragrance, in fact quite neutral. Very easily absorbed into the skin, no streaks, no grease.
On the label it states, 'silky skin feeling', and 'cools and soothes', both statements are on the button. When I came in from te sun (after falling asleep), my chest and stomach were burning and hot to the touch, the lotion acted as an instant 'soother', fantastic.
No real 'down' points and I am quite surprised as I do not generally use such products as I find them a bit greasy.
I may even continue to use this without sun as I like the feeling of my skin after use, oh my gosh, I am using moisturiser!!
