Nivea Bath care pampering shower oil

Wow! Was the first thing I thought, this was a product that really works for my skin! I have dry skin at places, and this just made it soft and smooth just like that! Sorry to say that it´s even better than Dove shower cream which I´ve used before!

So I thought I had to ask Ciao to add this product, so more people will know about this fantastic shower oil!
First thing I noticed when looking this product up, is that in Sweden it´s not called "pampering shower oil", only "shower oil", I believe it has to do with fitting the Swedish, Norweigan and Finnish translation onto the bottle, would look a bit much with all that text. Something us Swedes enjoy doing in bath, practice our Finnish! :)

About the bottle: It´s a see-through bottle with blue top, and on the front it says "Nivea bath care" in white letters on a blue background, the rest of the text comes underneath in dark blue, and lets you know it contains 55% caring oils, or "55% Luonnollisia öljyjä" in Finnish on my bottle :)

On the back of the bottle there is a big blue label with ingredients and more about the 55% caring oils, and how this product is especially made for dry skin. The oil itself is almost orange in colour, see-through, like oils are,and very fluent! Which makes you get more than you really wanted to when squirting it out. It might just not stop when you want it too, and it might not shoot straight in your hand, or maybe this is just me! :) When you use it you´ll feel and see that the oil transforms into a rich lather, and it feels really smooth on your skin, and doesn´t leave your body with that oily feeling either, only smoothiness (if there is such a word). Try not to get it in your eyes though, if you do, rinse with plenty of water.

The smell!! Smells really fresh and soapy, I don´t know, but I think it reminds me of my childhood in some way, so maybe it was a soap back then with a similar smell. It´s not quite as strong smell as Dove has, but the people liking Dove will probably like this!

For this 200 ml bottle I paid about £1,50 and it´s the most well spent money I could think of. I´ve never tried any other shower oil, don´t think I´ve seen any other in the shops around, so tell me if you know one that´s better.. (which I doubt) :)

Ok, we already know it contains 55 % caring oils, what else is in there you ask?

Ingredients:

Glycine Soja, MIPA-Laureth Sulfate, Ricinus Communis, Laureth-4, Cocamide DEA Parfum, Poloxamer 101, Triticum vulgare, Citric Acid, Aqua, Panthenol, BHT, Propyl Gallate.

Amazing what strange things are in there.. what is "Triticum vulgare" for example?? Let me look it up for you.. and the answer is.. Wheatgerm Oil! So there, not more exciting than that! Oil on!

I totally agree. Being german i was jumping with joy when they finally started selling NIvea Bath care. Saves me from brining a suitcase full of the stuff back with me.
